So I upgraded from 10.3.1.1016 using the blitz update, initially on that version generally going on the settings application gave a blinking screen. This was replicated in other apps however it was a rare occurance.

Since upgrading to .2072, this issue has been exacerbated with most native apps including Cb10/camera/whatsapp, and most android apps.

Has anyone had this issue when upgrading like me or using a fresh install of .2072. I believe this is a Passport centralised issue due to the fact the Passport is not optimised for this OS.

I'll be backing up and making an autoloader from the blitz and use a fresh install + restore to see if this rectifies the issue. Will post findings as an update to the thread.

Some passports seem to suffer from Flicker more than others.

I had very little on .1154 and none at all so far on .2072 following a Blitz update.

Presume that you have tried a hard reset, this does seem to provide a cure for some.

Hard Reset seems to work, although the problem does come back over time, whether it's a degrading OS issue to do with RAM usage or general uptime I'm not sure.

    Maybe Android Apps ??

I don't have any and don't get Flickering.

There has to be something in common for the Passports with and without the Flicker.

.2072 also flickers with my Passport, I loaded 1155 radio on this OS four days ago and so far no screen flickering. You might give this a try.
