Sadly this can't be a daily driver.

    1) There's no clock (or Alarm clock)
    2) The file manager is broken
    3) Especially a huge issue is no support for exFAT SDXC cards (you have to reformat as FAT32 which is not a good thing).

Even if you add the .BAR files from earlier 10.3 releases you're still going to be stuck.

On the other hand: Personally I really like the look and feel and new functionality of this build. It's really good looking and my hopes are high for the eventual happy leak that restores the missing functionality completely.

So we could just load this on top of 442/291 as a non-destructive way of upgrading?

Some things may or may not work. Best to look through the thread and figure out what works and what doesn't.

nice to see android 4.3 on board now, going to load up a bunch and see if performance has improved.

Definitely noticing vastly improved speed and responsiveness, the revised back bar is also welcome.
MS Office: still failing, citing an invalid address, but it lets you know it isn't working much faster, ugh I am getting so close, when I try to create a document it crashes now

One Note: still not working, crashing

Probably we will have to wait either for final OS or complete OS leak.

This one isn't a daily driver with 296 bars, I think so.

Let's see if someone gets it with 296 bars.

Yes good plan to monitor that thread...at least until some keen member creates a one stop hybrid.

Any feedback on camera especially in low light and dark conditions?

As of now in 442, it still sucks big time in dark.

I am sure hardware is good and can do justice to image quality provided software is good.

And also how is the runtime?

Even the latest subway surfer didn't work with 442.

Also what about Google dependent apps like quizup, etc and Google apps like latest maps, chrome and others?

Maybe Chen had the dev's put something in the OS to cripple it so the likes of us leak users wouldnt be able to use it as our Main Daily Driover

I had better low light shots on 442 oddly enough, but honestly it is improved from 10.2.1. The difference I'm seeing is the focus and shutter speeds are improved.

This is a developer OS for app developers. Never meant as daily driver. As all SDK OS before...

im curious if the heart bleed bug fixed in 4.4.4 will affect the android runtime in the bb10 os? anyone know

    edit: http://www.v3.co.uk/v3-uk/news/23513...-nexus-devices

read about it on some site, found one saying the same thing. though did a bit more searching and found another site saying it was fixed in 4.3. im not sure 4.1 could have been the only android version to be affected since everything that used openssl was vulnerable prior to its discovery
