I moved off of 700. Still having issues with the keyword and flicking words. Works about half the time. I send way to many emails, had to revert back to 10.2.1.

If you want to turn of the home screen, there's an option in in display settings. Switch it off and you won't see it unless you have any open apps.

With this OS does anyone mind loading up the instagram apk and seeing how it works? Are notifications being pushed to the hub now? I read some stuff about better android integration. Could someone post some screen shots!? Please and thank you!

I have finally just taken the plung and installed on my Q5 (using the bars provided from http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...-700-a-941849/ ), and I am loving this release. This combination now forms my daily driver for my work phone (Q5, EE UK).

Things I have found and loved:

The calendar which is now nice and smartly arranged.
I have also noted that I now have 5 icons across. :-)

The fonts are smaller and very smooth. I am loving the direction of BlackBerry.

In case nobody has yet referred to in this thread, BB pattern wallpapers (Dark, Vivid, and Work) are found in 10.3.0.700 for all screen resolutions (Z10, Z30, Q5/Q10, and Passport).

The settings page of the Z30 and Q10 use dark theme because the Amoled screen they have. It's white for the Z10, Q5 and Z3 'cause they use LCD screen.

It's an SDK OS, so it's incomplete. Download the missing apps from here and sideload them on top of it.

I usually sideload using a program called DDPB, which you can find out about here on the forum or on Google.

Once you can sideload the .bar files needed from OS version 10.3.0.296, you can use the file manager app to look at the wallpapers and set them as your wallpaper. The picture viewer app also works to set wallpaper.

    Good luck!

Actually, the previous OS would use 800MB freshly after the booking process and then slowly crawl up to 1.2GB as indexes etc. are loaded.

Guys, how to get this off that yellow developers box down in bottom? . Yes, it shows some info, but trust me, don't what to look at it all the time:-)
By the way, z10 battery life not improved as you mentioned.
And sadly can't install any third keyboard, as SwiftKey.

Memory Utilization with a very similar setup on 10.2.1 used to be 1.2 Gb, now it is 800Mb
    Love the new Icons.
It feels lighter, but has a few glitches which I expect to be ironed out in future releases.

I miss the Triage in the Hub, which let quickly delete a message/email.

Similar to Palm Pre, as Blackberry also has a gesture area at the bottom which is only used for up swipe.
Blackberry should allow full swipe left/right for moving between open Apps. So the Apps will feel like Cards in WebOS
Half swipe left from the center of the gesture area would mean go back... as in back in a browser.

Running it for a maybe 3 days. And yes, thinking of a new one. Per night idle drains more than 10% .

I also COMPLETELY agree with these ideas. The half swipe to go back is awesome and being used in Sailfish OS. The full swipe would have to be from the right edge towards the left to be compatible with native cascades apps, but I think that's what you meant.

I think another cool way to switch between active apps would be swipe up (keep pressing) and then slide to the active frame of the app you want to switch to, (sort of like making a folder). When the apps touch the app touched becomes the active app and user can reverse the motion to make the new app expand to the full screen without ever lifting your finger off the screen.

For now, .700 is workin' just fine for me...
