Sure?! Although I have only upgraded to leaks 4 or 5 times on my z10, I've never experienced ANYTHING like this kind of discharging before. Although, this IS the first time on any 10.3, and so I'm not sure what to expect and would like to troubleshoot if possible as I can't function on 3+ hours per full charge...

PIM services is your problem. Besides emails, whatsapp, facebook, twitter and other hub integrated apps could be the culprit.

I am 100 percent sure about this.

Delete all accounts and then add them 1 by 1 while paying attention to the device monitor on PIM CPU consumption (which is live). If the PIM goes down after a while you know that it's not the problem.

This is tedious but it works.

PIM being the bigger part of the cpu usage makes sense. But it appears battery drain has begun stabilizing some. I wonder therefore if I should hold off on trying deleting and re-adding accounts as that will likely just spike the drain again and prolong clarity as to overall cpu usage and battery drain. See screenshot

Since I was unable to restore any backup, I reverted to 10.2. Couldn't do without all my app data & contacts.

In use, I didn't really like the new icon set, or the blue button in the middle. The camera app seemed well laid out, although I didn't test HDR - Burst mode to see if it actually worked.

Next time, create a custom backup (select everhthing)
Use contacts imex to export/import contacts to/from a vcf file.

When you restore, deselect "settings", app data > "system applications " and app data > "BlackBerry runtime"

May try it at the weekend, but didn't see any compelling reason to do so

I've used it for a couple of days without doing a restore form backup yet, and everything seems to be running a lot smoother and my battery life has just about doubled, do to not having any android apps on my phone, except Amazon.

I really liked the new featured from 10.3.1 but decided that id rather run the more polished OS version on my daily, since I am a rogers customer and might as well get the best experience on my phone.

Im finally doing a restore and will report back with any issues i come across, but so far without a restore, its been really excellent!

    Passport is my device btw!

I know I have to be patient with these things. My contacts have been a bit wonky. Also, it seems to take forever for the Beta Zone apps to install.

took the plunge today- I did a NON-destructive Load using Sachesi 1.9.4- very easy although he loading of the core took about 45 min. Not too bad- I also backup first !! A must ! Its only been 4 hours now- but everything seems fine , smooth and fast- The temp was over 100 at first- now is down to 86- expected. The Battery drain is what I would expect after a new "load"- but overall, its a keeper for sure- very fast and very smooth. No WiFi or Bluetooth issues either-

I look forward to installing a stable 10.3.1.xxxx when the build number is over 1000-

Anyone with a Z10 having issues with screen scaling? When ever I unlock my Z10 my screen is zoomed in; 3 x 4 icons only; or 1.5 x 2 active frames only. A quick pinch will bring the screen back to normal dimensions. Otherwise .1418 is an excellent OS. Non destructive w Sachesi 1.9.4 from 10.2.1.3xxx

For the first time on this build a real sleep mode that didn't drain the battery. This is my secondary phone, only used for leaks and movie streaming Or for fun, installed 10.3.0.1418 and this is the result so far on bedside mode since install. All other builds no more than 12 hours in bedside.

Took two hits to work on 1154 as well. The flick to type is better on this build but the space bar on the Z10 still sucks.

In prior OS versions simply holding down the top button on the Z10 while it counted 3, 2, 1...would shut off the phone. Now, after the count down, it just reboots. Anyone having a similar issue or a workaround?

EDIT: tried a couple of times and the last time it actually showed 3, 2, 1, 0 and turned off. The other times the zero never came up even though I kept holding down the button. In previous builds, the screen would go white after the "1" and that was how you knew it was going to shut down. Now, it either goes black or the BlackBerry name comes up and you get a reboot.

STA6 No Bluetooth,FM radio and can't save pics from inside BBM. Tried loading bars from 10.3.1. No go. Going back to 10.3.1.
Yeah, STA100-6 here as well...still no FM Radio, nor Bluetooth.

Pity...I was hoping they would fix it.

Is it just me, or did the layout of the Symbols part of the virtual keyboard move around slightly? My muscle-memory for typing a smiley, now types :# instead. Also, USSD codes are still full keyboard instead of the Alphanumeric one that they should be...which they were in 10.2.1521.
