I tried the autoloader last night and it won't even start on the computer. I've downloaded it from two different sites now. Any idea what's holding it up?

Hi, I'm currently running 10.3.0.1052 and I'm experiencing no issue at all. Is there new features in 1154 that would make it worthwhile to upgrade or is it just bug fixes?

There must have been a good reason for the manufacturer to release an updated software, I suppose. Please refer to

Yes, for BUG fix. That's my question. Is this 1154 just bug fix or are there new features since 1052? I'm currently on 1052 and I'm not experiencing any bug. If on the other hands it contains new cool features, than it might be worthwhile for me to upgrade. Just asking, that's all...

I was actually having problems when I was on 1052. The move to 1154 was great for me, but outside of VoIP showing up in the call screen there isn't much new that I've seen. It was worth it for me, and I'll probably upgrade again when the next one comes out, but you're not missing a bunch if you waited in my opinion.

Thanks. Like they say, if it ain't broke don't fix it. VoIP isn't available on Telus I believe so it ain't worth it for me.

Dagerlach - try downloading the autoloader (the one on Nutcase that Thursday posted) using Firefox - that one worked fine for me. And I also suggest using 7Zip to extract it.

Well, I just figured out that my computers are 64-bit and the autoloader doesn't want to run because of it. I've tried compatibility mode w/ no luck. Anybody else figure out the solution?

Please try to run the autoloader in a Command Prompt window opened with administrator's privileges.

Thanks Don. I've got no idea then. I do get a message when I try to execute the application that says the application is not compatible w/ the 64-bit OS.

You extracted the autoloader with 7zip right?

Btw when doing nondestructive updates I think it's important putting your phone in airplane mode. Not sure if it matters all that much but sachesi didn't want to install bars without airplane mode being on for me

Happy to say the Autloader is now working for me. Fingers crossed for a good load and restore. The solution was to install a new version of .Net, reboot, remove WinZip, and unzip with 7zip.

Thanks to all who offered advice.

Have you tried USB connection mode other than autodetect?
