That's what I'm planning to do. There are a few glitches though, like on the keyboard swipe but I can manage.

Sachesi method will work if I'm coming from 10.2? Was hoping to do a full wipe because of a battery drain issue, but then reinstall current versions of apps

    Thanks!

Yes, you can update from 10.2 whim is exactly what I did.
I'm new to installing leaks so I can't really help with the re-install of apps. From what I've read restoring settings is big no no. But apps can be restored.

If a friend of mine is on 10.2.1 and I want to help him get this OS on should I use sachesi to instal the core os and radio or should I have to use the debrick files to extract the app files. Fairly new to sachesi just used it once to install 10.3.0.1154 over the. 1130 so I want to make sure I don't mess his phone.

Friendly advice - don't touch your friends phone. Point him to these forums, let him read and decide for himself, and help him if he asks you for help. The risks here are low, and most problems can be fixed, but there is always some risk. You don't want to own his problems. Heck, some people even come here with sob stories after a legit carrier pushed update that "broke my phone".

    Hey guys,

I was able to download 10.3.0.1154 using Sachesi version look up. I got this file: qc8960.factory_sfi.desktop-10.3.0.1154-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar. What do I do with this file. I am familiar with other installation methods except this one. The file is 1.7gb so believe that it has all the OS files and apps. Is there anything else I need to download, do I need to split this file or I simply go ahead and install it with Sachesi using the .bar button under the Install tab? I am trying to do a non destructive install and wanted to explore this option as well. Please correct me if I am doing something wrong. Thanks for the support. Cheers.

I would rather download all apps with Sachesi than extract app .bar files from the core OS .bar file.

Please use the latest Sachesi software which is found at https://github.com/xsacha/Sachesi/releases/ .

I thought it was only possible to do download all the bar files if it is an official release. The version lookup only gives the debrick, core and radio files.

App files can be extracted from the Debrick file after download using Sachesi. Once extracted drop the proper RADIO and CORE OS file into the same folder as the app .bar files and install the folder. There is a good step by step tutorial on the Sachesi thread.

It was true for Software Release 10.3.0.754 (OS 10.3.0.1172 + Radio 10.3.0.1155 (NOT 1173)).

App files of Software Release 10.3.0.738 (OS 10.3.0.1154 + Radio 10.3.0.1155) can be downloaded with Sachesi - Country 505 / Carrier 2 (Optus Australia) and Country 510 / Carrier 1 (Indosat Indonesia).

App files of Software Release 10.3.0.675 (OS 10.3.0.1052 + Radio 10.3.0.1053) can be downloaded with Sachesi - Country 262 / Carrier 2 (Vodafone Germany).

Edit - With Country 404 / Carrier 1 (Aircel Digilink India) Sachesi now generates a download list for Software Release 10.3.0.754 (OS 10.3.0.1172 + Radio 10.3.0.1155 (NOT 1173)) but all app .bar files remain the same as those found in Software Release 10.3.0.738 (OS 10.3.0.1154 + Radio 10.3.0.1155).

Please also note that neither qc8960.factory_sfi-10.3.0.1172-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar (core OS for all devices other than Q30 and OMAP Z10) nor winchester.factory_sfi-10.3.0.1172-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar (core OS for OMAP Z10) exists. Only qc8974.factory_sfi-10.3.0.1172-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar (core OS for Q30) exists.

I had already installed 1052 + 1130 + 1154 bars so only thing I have to do is install with sachesi core and radio and it should work fine right?
Someday I'll have to learn how to do that. Until then........AUTOLOADERS BABY!

Just used Sachesi and the links here to upgrade my Q10 to 1154.

I gotta say, I was nervous as all get out! But, after reading through this numerous times, it wasn't so bad -- once my phone actually restarted and loaded up. :P

Kudos to all who contributed in explaining how it's done to newbs like myself!

    Ok. Here's the question.

Had 1130. Updated to 1154 via sachesi (loaded Core Os, Radio, and bars for 1154 from passport (?)). From passport I mean - bars which let's you to upgrade apps only from 1052.

Now, just noticed, that Android runtime f*ed up - any android app (i.e. Amazon app store, google maps, etc) exits right after launch.
I mean - you tap on app, screen goes black (like just before app logo during the launch) and immediately back to "home screen".

any solutions (exept full wipe, as in this case I will go straight for autoloader)?

[EDIT] DISREGARD ALL THE ABOVE - Hard Reboot (holding Volume Up & Down at same time for 5 seconds) solved issues

Looks like this OS bricked my tMobile Z10. I tried the non-destructive route for the first time using the Sachesi application. The OS finished it's installation and was running. So, I tried to install the radio file. It gave me a communication error. I rebooted the phone and it never came out of the Blackberry blue square logo screen.

    I used the following files:

    qc8960.factory_sfi-10.3.0.1154-nto+armle-v7+signed
    qc8960-10.3.0.1155-nto+armle-v7+signed

    Do I need to debrick?

It may have reverted back to the 10.2.1.xxxx. There are many comments that a number of posters made, that the phone will revert back to the current release, after some time passes. Sounds like yours may have followed this trend.

Well, it looks like it's toast. What to try next....maybe the Autoloader. I was really didn't want to loose all my apps and start over, but what's new w/ Blackberry. It's not like I haven't been down this road a few times.

As long as your PC sees the phone via Link or Sachesi, the autoloader will work. Obviously, it'll wipe everything, but at least you'll get your phone back.
