Yeah. Installing the 10.2.1 autoloader will have the device clean & apparently no bugs in that. But then you won't get the features of 10.3 on that. Right?

People sacrifice the bug-free experience to try out the latest & coolest OSes all the time. For a normal user, it's always recommended to stay with the latest official OS. In this case the latest build of 10.2.1 or 10.2.2 (if in germany)

One more question - let's say I use an autoloader for the official 10.2.1 OS, will I then receive the official 10.3.1 when released or do I have to update via autoloader again?

Even if you're on a leak, if an official update comes out that is of a higher version number than what you are running you will get the notification saying you have an update available. I promise, you won't miss 10.3.1 if you are on either 10.2.1 or 10.3.0.

OK, I'll let it sit for a while. It's weird that yesterday after I loaded it non-destructively it was working pretty fine, but today as soon as I need to show it off, it suddenly started acting like a cheap Android phone...
    Maybe it was scenic panic?

You have no idea how irritated I was, looks like everything is working fine now after that meeting, my Z10 never lagged that much since 10.0, there must have been a ghost of Steve Jobs jamming with the processor or something

I reloaded 1154 a second time and restored. I need to restore as I don't have a lot of time to set everything up again on the job. But it didn't work the second time around so now I have to take the day (whenever I can) and evening to add each of my apps back individually and set up my 7 emails again etc. Really disappointed in this.

Oh and please no "that's what happens when you restore." I restore for every OS load and NEVER had this issue.

But it will work when I install everything from scratch so no problems.
Ok disregard what I said earlier that you gotta wait cuz even mine didnt settle

so I did security wipe and installed the andorid apps i wanted and just restored my settings, calendar and contacts and went from there

I started Sachesi to install core + radio + splitted signed bar. Sachesi shows below.. doesn't look like anything is happening.. its quite, no moving or blinking cursor or anything visible on phone... Is it going fine?

    Connected to MSM8960_V3.2.1.1_FN_R070_Rev:19 at 169.254.54.57.
    Installing : 10.3.0.1155
    Installing : 10.3.0.1154
    Installing 197 .bar(s).

Edit: Thanks jzajac. I retried this am. Installation went smooth (I forgot to turn on airplane mode).

    5. Now DELETE all the "sys.dxtg" files. There are four; the sys.dxtg.launcher file, if present, will blow up the install as it is missing some subsidiary components. This is the "Docs To Go" program and I've seen this problem before with debrick files. I have no idea why it happens, but you have to remove those files or the load WILL FAIL at about the 50% point.
    Is this still required?
I understand this instruction was for 10.3.0.1052

When you drag your directory with the core OS, radio file and BAR files you should see something like this to let you know your installation has started.

If you have 10.3, then loading the core and radio via Sachesi should be enough.

Well, this is odd. I've loaded the Core twice now. Sachesi is showing me as being on .1154 but my Software Release says I'm still at .675. Z10, on AT&T, STL100-3. Loaded the Core twice with Sachesi. Any idea as to why that part won't update? (I am 100% certain it's the right Core that I downloaded for my device)

I had a fail with Sachesi and the Docs to go files with 1052, and it forced me to do an autoload before I knew what had caused it. I think Sacha has fixed the problem. But you can take those files out of the directory, load everything else, then try to load them, and if it fails at that point you haven't lost much.

Did you load in the 1155 radio as well? You need that to change the SW release version.

The first boot can take time. Give it a few minutes and let it work and see if it comes back on its own.

It's actually not the first boot. It watched on and then I restarted it and since then it's been stuck on that screen for over an hour.

Yes, Core first, (Device reset itself after that) then Radio after which the device reset itself again.

All official updates would come in the form of OTA. That is, you'll get notified on your device no matter what OS you're running (unless the one you're running is of a higher version than the official OS). You can choose to use the autoloader for 10.3.1 when it releases if you prefer to have everything clean and setup new. Or you could simply use the OTA (or) find the core os & radio on CB (load via sachesi) and have all your data (non-destructive).

One more question - let's say I use an autoloader for the official 10.2.1 OS, will I then receive the official 10.3.1 when released or do I have to update via autoloader again?

How long should the installation of the radio file take in sachesi? i installed the core on my Z30 which took like 10 minutes, after the reboot i installed the radio, which after an hour was only at about 50% ...then it stopped and i was getting errors and errors...Did core and radio on my z10 before, where the whole process took only about 15-20 minutes?!

I was also new to Sachesi and I use a Mac, I flashed the Core first, the device will restart. Then the Radio, device restarts and then the 1154 app files, all 199 of them which will take a while.

One thing to pay attention too is after you flash the Core bar file, if you have a connection issue, go into settings/storage and access and make sure the USB settings is set the Windows or Mac depending on which one you using.

I have a z30 100-5 and was on 1052 and it worked like a charm. Great leak so far, hope it helps.
