anyone else experiencing very slow battery charging on the latest 10.3 releases? i noticed it on 1052 and even on this 1130 build.

using the oem 750ma charger, a iphone 1000ma charger and even a 2.1amp car charger the battery takes a very long time to charge to full.

when using my 2.1a car charger and os 10.2.1 it would charge up the battery 30-35% within 30min. now it only goes up about 10-12% in the same time. it also appears the oem and iphone charger does about the same. it seems like the phone will only accept a max of about 500ma by the amount of time it takes.

    stl3 z10 running 10.3.0.1130

    anyone else notice??

Loaded this OS version on my Z30. Lots of graphical improvements, device is snappier, seems a good build to load. No issues with apps at all - even Android apps are running faster than on the previous releases.
Not issues with charging my side. Batt on 100% and curious to see how it will last.
...and.... No PIN watermarks on the screen edges!

Thanks to our uploaders for this one!

Seems to be a bit smoother than the previous version, but that was already better than the .700.
What I keep experiencing is the wifi icon being replaced by the 3G icon, even when I am on wifi.
Same as the previous version....anybody else have the same?

I'm skeptical initially, but was happy this 1130 is better than 1052 on Z30.
    Thanks for sharing...

Still not happy with the long press overflow menu....seems stupid that it fully opens rather than the small menu......make it a little more time consuming to select and delete stuff

Anyone with >32GB flash cards having an issue downloading the Media Card Driver? I keep getting an error whenever it tries to install... manual download doesn't work either.

I've confirmed that the sd card I'm using is OK. Same behaviour after security wipe, also before and after restore.

Is there a BAR for the media card driver?
I get this as well. Anyone aware of any single .bar files I can downgrade, without having to revert to an earlier OS?

Somebody said so in the other thread, but I haven't seen anyone else confirm it. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I do have the ringtone volume problem, so I'll check in after I've tried it.

Edit: Tried it; no discernible difference.
Not fixed yet on Z30. Still low on volume event if I set it to 80 percent

NFC still will not work with it on and the screen off even when you have checked the option for it to work with the screen off. Also, the open in option isn't remembered for 3rd party apps.

TSN Go Live streaming crashes on this OS. It worked fine on 10.2. This is the Android app. Anyone get it working?

When I switch orientation to landscape while in full screen mode on YouTube, this happens.

Work around: change to landscape before going full screen.

On a similar note, I've had this same problem with Splashtop every since I got my Z30 (no problems on Q5 or PlayBook).

Man, I hope they keep it this way...looks like the Share screen no longer has the recently shared target apps. So much cleaner and nicer. Like the list wasn't ever even that big to scroll through...you didn't need that weird top graphic and items messing everything up. Was kind of unsightly and confusing. Back to the good ole clean list.

    Nope, bug still present.

I wouldn't call it a bug. Perhaps the speaker or amp in the passport plays louder the the earlier BlackBerry's.

It may be there before but when the option " Show Wallpaper When App Apps Are Closed" under Display is off then there won't be active frame when no apps running.

    Long-press overflow menu:
Press+Swipe: only thin row of icons pops out, you can quickly swipe to the appropriate option.
This is the fastest way to access the most used options, once you've learned what the icons mean.
Press+Release: The full menu pops out, because this makes it instantly possible to scroll through the list of options.
This is the fastest way to access options that are not "at the top of the list", or when you don't yet know what they mean.
Previously you had to expand the overflow manually before you could see those.
    _____
So now matter your personal feelings, this change makes it simpler (and faster) to use. And still both flavours exist (thin row for "gesture" lovers, expanded view for "newbies").
That is the focus of most of the recent BB10 UI changes, the gestures were too confusing for mainstream users so they are making it more accessible!

Sorry but it's not faster to use....try selecting and deleting multiple photos in the photo gallery and tell me it's easier and faster than before.

Maybe it's a bug or maybe because this OS is originally designed for the passport but it was way better on 10.0 all the way up to 10.2.1

Press+Swipe works quite well in the Hub. Unfortunately, this is not the case in the browser. Previously, when Press&Hold to a link, was opening only the icons - something I found very convenient. Now after Press&Hold opens the icon menu only and if Release opens the entire menu, but no way to Swipe. This, at least to me is inconvenient and often confusing.

Your point about mainstream users makes sense.

I don't know if this has been posted, but you can rearrange the Active Frames by hold pressing on them like the app icons and organizing them to your liking.
