    The attach and search icons are considered potentially important information?

    Posted via CB10
    They hide the time stamp of the email, I'm pretty sure that is of some importance and the back button box hides the type of message (i.e. The image that relates to a text mag vs an email) both important pieces of info that can be useful when trying to manage communications.

    Thanks, Doggerz, for your kind help, and you have me close to being convinced about a wipe and re-autoload. Just time, as you say.

    But explain to me--why both a security wipe and a SIC Wipe? I did a SIC wipe once and it took about 2 hours. And what is a SIC wipe, that is, what does it do that a security wipe doesn't do, and vice versa?
    I'll tell you why. It got to the point a while back when I just didn't want to leave anything to chance. And I noticed that the regular security wipe took out the password and everything and left just the OS. Then I did the SIC tool on top of it and it just wiped out the OS.

    Once I used just the SIC tool and it kept asking me for a password. But I may have just had it screwed up.

    The SIC is way faster for sure.

    I just did both but it is probably my OCD. If I had the choice I'd use SIC just to get rid of the old OS totally.

    Doing it that way will not take much time at all. Only thing I had to do after the SIC wipe and autoloader install was side load Snap using Chrome.

    Probably what happened to me was a fluke. But if it happens to you where it keeps asking for a password and the SIC doesn't seem to work then do the security wipe and then the SIC.

    Bet you won't have to resort to that. It only happened to me once.

    And then once your new OS is setup just update your Amazon app and you're all good to go.

    I have had one or two random restarts. Reminds me of the 10.0.0 days. But I was doing some major installing and customizing.

    So I'm not going to sweat it. In a week I think I'll have a better idea how this OS is. I can say that for me the battery is way better than 10.2.2. That thing was killing me.

    No dark hub for ANYONE until 10.3.1. This has been posted over and over all over these forums.

    Surprised no one responded to that comment in the OP early on. It's come up many times in the other threads about this leak.

    Hello there,

    I've been using my Q10 (previously owned a Nokia N900) since February this year. Since then, thanks to all the crackberry users, i learned how to install leaked OSes and etc.

    With the new 10.3.0.1052 my PIM services improved (decreased the battery and CPU usage - before it was a battery hog). But, in the Device Monitor the PHONE turns to eat more battery and CPU than in the previos version. Same goes for the HUB.

    My question is whether I can sideload PHONE and HUB from previous version (10.2.x.x) without (100%) not messing my phone, as i am kind a busy these days.

    LMAO although I'm running this build Z30STA100-5/10.3.0.1052 I decided to test on a spare Z10 before I make a user in our environment my suffering guinea pig tomorrow until Friday. (reasons with held)

    Went through the wizard as usual and noticed that although short it still complains I've not completed it - no easy telltale sign that pending tutorials must be taken/actioned.

    I had this on my Z30 too but ignored it.

    So I figured going through them all and during the Gestures Wizard this is what I found hilariius!

    Download it from here.

    https://mega.co.nz/#!XIpVUb7a!eU_d9L..._-b5OVrulVBIBo

    Side load via Sachesi or BB Playbook in Chrome.

    Open Porsche clock, go to World Clock, click Add, type in FOSTAH, click Done, go to settings, go to Backdoor, then go to Clock Settings then Clock Face and you'll see Porsche Analog, Digital, etc., choose what you want, exit clock, go into it again, and you'll have it.
    Sadly though you can load this on a Z30 it doesn't give you the option of the Porsche Clock, must be a resolution issue. Works fine on my Z10 though, both with our favourite leak installed.

    Anyone else have their vibration stop working? I mean it works, but not for phone calls or notifications. It still works in other apps, such as BVE and a couple games I have.

    Posted via CB10
    I had that too, but I found out why. Go into Notifications>Applications. There, you can set the vibration alert for Email messages and other apps. That should resolve it.

    I said before my audible notifications stopped working at random intervals. It is al working fine now, so either it just needed time to settle, or Evolution Browser was causing issues (only app I removed subsequently).

    hey everyone;
    I've downloaded the autoloader today and installed it very easily; but when my phone was booting for first time, from 0% to 60% of loading was fast and normal; but from 60% it got slower and slower and eventually it stuck at 99%.
    i waited for about 2 hours and decided to reload the os again. i did it and again it stuck at 99%. i thought it might be because of the source so i download the autoloader again but the problem still persists. i reloaded my previous 10.2 OS and it was OS;
    is there anyone who can tell me what is my problem and why my 10.3.1052 stuck at 99%;
    please help me if you can.

    I've gone through this whole thread and you are only the second person to mention this glitch. I did a non-destructive install on my Z10/STL3 and this seems to be the only problem I've run into so far.

    Is there nobody else that has found this problem? Or has anyone found it on a device other than a Z-10?

    Hi,

    First, I'm glad you're enjoying your Q10. Second, I'm also glad CB has been of use to you - it speaks to the strength of the community in assisting individuals, which I think is great.

    To your question: I don't know anyone who would guarantee, 100%, that sideloading an older version of phone or Hub would not mess up your phone. As you've learned from installing leaked OSes etc., you've heard of the "usual disclaimer," often referred to, which is, basically, "none of this is official, here's what WE have found so far, give it a go if you want and if you have issues, don't blame us."

    I'm pretty conservative at the leaks I'll try (my first BlackBerry was the Bold 9900, so not THAT long before the Z10 came out) as I'm pretty busy myself. I rely on my phone for everything, so I tend not to want to sit with a build which may become unreliable.

    Long story short, if you definitely want to ensure you don't mess up your phone in any way, stick with official builds. At least if there ARE issues which come up, they can be officially troubleshot. (Troubleshooted? Hm)

    Hope I've helped though I didn't really give you a technical yea or nay.

    If the type of message, and time stamp is important why wouldn't you keep scrolling and then you'd see what both were?

    I'm on a q10, and that has never been an issue with my small screen space. It literally take .1 second a slight movement of your finger to see the time and type of message if not already displayed.

    And the benefit is that you still have access to the overflow menu and hub filtering.
