Hey, I have the 10.2.0.10xx leak i think it is, is there something that I'm missing?

The help says that i go to settings > Show my number to hide my number for outgoing calls, but in my OS i cant find it anywhere. Did they move it somewhere else in the leak? or am I completely blind by not seeing it in the main settings screen?

Somebody else with 10.2 verify that it is or isnt there? ive been searching around and cant find this anywhere.

Um I think that can only be done by your provider and the option to show your number or not is for the phone app where it shows your number above the keypad. If I am correct.

maybe thats the case I guess.
I know on a friends iphone they have it right in their menu system to block their number on outgoing calls. I was hoping BB did the same thing.

In the phone app swipe down. In the settings there is an option but I think it does what I was thinking before. Oh well

He wants others to not see his number. That's different.

It absolutely DOES hide your number. But some phone systems can unhide it (and carrier blocked numbers as well). Any VoIP phone system using Asterisk as the VoIP server can unblock your blocked CID. I just tried it on 10.2 and it works fine. Shows up as "unknown number" when I call my landline. It's in the settings in the phone menu, swipe down in the phone app.

It's hidden on Verizon. We have limited phone options

You can try under sim card setting to mask your true number by listing it such as 8675309 or maybe 555 555 5555

Haven't tried it so I don't know if it will work

No, the carriers have some things locked down. Verizon loves to strip us of options...

You can't change the SIM card display number. Even if you could, it would always display the actual number on the other end.
