    Hello folks,

I have just resumed using my Dev Alpha C device after months, its running old 10.0 Dev OS fo testing.
I have heard on the forums that Q10 & Dev Alpha C are identical in hardware, and the leaked 10.2 full OS for Q10 would work fine for Dev Alpha C.

Anyone of you have tried to install 10.2 for Q10 on Dev Alpha C? How does it work? Is it stable? Any issues so far?

If you are sucessfully running full 10.2 OS on your Dev Alpha C devices, please let me know the link to the OS image. I would like to update my DAC as well.

    Thanks!

If you're going to load a full os, may as well go with the 1055 leak.

The Dev C has half the RAM of a Q10, and 1Gb isn't enough to run 10.2.1 for sure. 10.2 is also impossible from my recollection.

Obviously a tad dainbramaged at the time.

No, the Dev Alpha C has 2 GB of RAM, it should be capable enough to run full OS. I just want to know anyone out there is successfully running full OS on DAC. I don't want to brick my device. Thanks!

Full OS works fine on Dev Alpha C (just checking for software updates does not, atleast for me).

Plain wrong, the Dev Alpha A and B are the ones with 1gb ram

Hey gizmooo, thank you for the confirmation that full OS works fine on DAC.

Would you mind telling me which version of OS you are using on your DAC and where did you get it from? Thanks again!

10.2.1 is till in beta phase, and its not fully stable. I want to install 10.2.0 on my DAC. Any suggestions for that?
@thurask has suggested me to try 10.2.0.1809 build, which should work on DAC.

I would second @thurask on that one, if you want stability.

Thank you all you wonderful people. I have successfully installed 10.2.0.1809 on my DAC, the process of installation was smooth as butter, and device is working perfectly so far.

Special Thanks to @thurask, who has suggested me that build. Really love this community. Thanks!

Just saying there are some features in 1055 that you won't get in 10.2. Two of the biggest are direct apk installs and the option to delete emails from server. Those are currently only available in 10.2.1. 1055 does have its quirks, but so far nothing that has made the device any less reliable for me. Some people have had more serious issues, but it seems mostly due to improper loading of the leak, faulty backup/restore, or too many android apps.

Is anyone here using dev alpha B as a daily phone?
If so, details of how it goes?
And if it can go to 10.2.1?

Dev Alpha B has no issues running as a daily driver. It can run 10.2.1 fine it sometimes closes the active frame apps though as it is a bit much for the 1gb of ram to handle. Other than that no LTE but works and functions fine for me. Haven't used it much since I got my Z30.

I have a dev Alpha C and I've been running the each leak as they have come out. I've been on the latest leak since december I think. Never had any problems with it. If this forum is any indication, I've had less problems than the regular Q10.

    Exactly like this
I been using my dev alpha B. Everything works. But active frames crashes on me sometimes. Sometimes the camera wont start because of the lack of ram..
I just wish it was like Dev alpha C
