Noticed that 10.2.2.619 has been spotted. Big jump from 433. Getting close to that 1000 mark.

I'm very curious on what will 10.2.2 bring. I mean what are it's distinct features over 10.2.1.

Since Jakara Z3 is coming out in may, 10.2.2 isnt a far jump from that. Chen can pull a sneaky one on us

I still thonk it'll realease with 10.2.1 MR (10.2.1.29xx or 10.2.1.3xxx) but who knows

Considering there's a slew of bugs that the recent MR leak have dramatically fixed I'm not holding my breath for 10.2.2 any time soon. The MR needs to come out and then it'll likely be middle of summer before we see 10.2.2. Unless something dramatic like BlackBerry going direct with updates occurs.

Still think the MR is super important though, and I would rather see that come out quicker rather ran wait to bundle it with 10.2.2. I never had bugs with BB10 until 10.2.1 and it was a brutal 4 months dealing with the bugs. It's annoying because I know what the OS can do and what I could do before 10.2.1 but the bugs really ruin the experience, especially when they show up in old features that worked flawlessly before.

I'd be content with a little preview of what's in 10.2.2, though. Like an updated developer road map, or something.

BlackBerry should give future releases as dev versions to developers dont you guys think? Like how apple gives 7.1 beta 1, 2 etc to devs. Or does BlackBerry already do this?

I agree with the summer 10.2.2 launch but you never know. This is a new CEO, look how funcyional 10.3 was at 140 when it took 10.2.0.341 to become somewhat functional. Who knows now we can only guess.

Although I do disagree with the bugs coming from 10.2.1, I think its the other way around to the point it was unbearable. But im not going to get into it now.

10.2.1 had no bugs when I had a Z10, I switched to a Z30 in January and there was noticeably more bugs, at least on the version Canadians got. My whole family has Z30s and we all experienced the same bug. I usually chalk up bugs to user error. Z30STA100-5/10.2.1.2947 is probably the best OS I've used, though, so far.

That would be crazy since it's just about a week away! Not saying I'm holding my breath for it, but would be interesting if Chen could release one OS without a leak or any information beforehand.

i agree... when i first asked him, he started laughing, then he put me on hold to ask his colleague and when he got back, he said April 15th. now i am thinking maybe the Z3 will launch on that day with os 10.2.2.XXXX and if Chen really delivers on april 15th, then his measures to block leaks is really effective...

crossing my fingers that the tech guy was honest about his answer and didnt just say it to shut me up

just like on the earnings call the Z3 (Jakara) is launching in may. That report by the record was wrong.

BlackBerry Z3 Launching In May In Indonesia [UPDATED] - N4BB

It does give it some time with 10.2.2 but I still don't think it will be ready for launch even though 10.2.2 is already at 10.2.2.619 which is 200+builds in a month. Usually stable builds start at .1xxx but carrier release usually .15xx + so that's cutting it close.

Who knows though right? Time will tell.

Maybe we are seeing a shift as to where stable builds will start in the future, as you pointed out in reference to 10.3.0.140 and 10.2.0.341, so maybe those new builds won't have to reach 1xxx or 15xx. anyway it will all be expose in a couple weeks...

    In case anyone's keeping score...

    The following have been spotted:

    10.2.1.3073

    10.2.2.790

    10.3.0.284

10.3 is moving along slowly as 254 was spotted just last Friday. But 10.2.2 seems to be jumping forward a little faster.
