So no WiFi Direct on this leak right ? I thought it had it and have been trying to search for settings on the phone or options.

Wifi Direct is available on all the phones but the Z10. It might come later, it might not. Miracast seems to be a no go when you look at the OS files though.

Could be that Texas Instrument failed to deliver updated features for the chip they're using...

I installed this leaked os last night. I wanted to know if you're running a leaked bb10 os and bbry/carrier rolls out the official version if you still get the notification to upgrade like I always did?

This is by far the best OS! Very smooth and quick. I didn't even load my back up file I went as far as re loading everything back onto the device manually. I bought that contact X app before loading 10.2. And it brought back my contacts quick and easy. This is such an improvement over 10.1.

My understanding is yes, with a smaller download. Can't confirm since it is first with a leak. However this seems to be the case for those that ran the 10.1 leaks and official came afterwards.

Is this true that the Z10 won't support Miracast? I thought this was confirmed for a future update...? Pretty disappointing for me... really thought it would be getting it!

This OS version is buttery smooth, everything in it just glides...can't put in words how smooth it is... In comparison my Samsung s4 feels like a dinosaur. Not an exaggeration just try for yourself.

    Good job Blackberry.

Yep, I'd have to agree. I thought it was just me, even typing on the seems smoother, how is that possible? Everything flows super slick!

This update is awesome. I loved the phone before, but now it is even better. I'd have no hesitation updating for daily use.
I just wanted to list a couple of issues though which will hopefully be sorted before official release:
    (1) Blackberry Protect doesn't seem to be able to find my phone anymore
    (2) I can no longer access my Blackberry Link shared files on my PC's over the mobile network. That is a really cool feature, and I am missing it.
    (3) If you have a gmail account with a different email address setup with IMAP, the account will not survive the upgrade process - it ends up locked and unaccessible. This is due to a new authentication process for gmail accounts which was also in the latest 10.1 maintenance release. You need to delete this email account first and then upgrade, and then set it up afterwards. Even restoring from backup has same issue.
    (4) Just a little pet peeve that has never worked in any version but I was hoping would be in 10.2; the GPS data is still not accessible to GPS apps once the screen has timed out or phone is locked. This means that if you are tracking a hiking or cycling route, you have to ensure the screen stays on all the time - which is not practical.

I think I used the phone even more the last few days than ever before... just because I enjoy this leak so much
Everything runs just smooth, had no real bugs (switch reset for interactive notifications isn't really a bug for me...want it enabled anyway ; and even fixed my facebook problems since 10.1.x now ), and best of all: my battery life seems much longer than on any 10.1.x os

Yes I have to agree BlackBerry is definitely very close with this build other than some minor glitches. I'm just happy my battery has improved! The OS is so smooth!

This is my first 10.2 leak and my 5th overall leak. Really superb. Battery life is better (after the settle in), and smooth is the word! Loving it.
