So I've read all the posts about how much smoother the android apps run, but are they as smooth as native apps? I understand that some work better than others, but how smooth are the really smooth ones? Right now I wouldn't say any android apps are a substitute for native,(I'm on 10.2 with a random runtime I don't remember) but are they smooth enough on 10.2.1 to be a real substitute?

    Yeah they are smooth.
And the best part....I can have these apps on my phone whereas before I couldn't. It trumps living without them!

I am trying to determine this myself. Here is what I seem to be experiencing :

Native are faster to load, smoother, and use less power.

Android take long to load, are still smooth once loaded, but make the phone run warmer.

Maybe this is all in my head, but it does seem to be what is happening. I have a mix of about 50/50 native to android.

Equal types between both, except for mapping which are not mostly android, which I am taking out of the comparison since those are always burning more battery due to the data and gps.
