Ah I see now- I never do a backup/restore if I'm using autoloaders. I just install, start fresh, and install the APKs again (I keep them all on my SD card)
I want to keep my clash of clan progress so that is why I have yet to try the autoloaders.

It shouldn't be faster. Speed is limited by the phone and the connection to the phone.

There's no legitimate way to install BARs on phone. Any exploit would be patched. You can, however, install android apps!
xsacha, is there a way to get the mobile Sachesi to save downloads to the SD card instead of on the device? It would be super awesome if we could tell it to download the file(s) straight to a network drive; i.e., download through my Z10 and straight onto my desktop!

Got to say this OS is snappy.
Non destructive upgrade using sachesi 1.1.3.
Removed the wallpaper bar and replaced with thurasks replacement then dragged OS and App bars across together and installed in 25mins.

If I use the Sachesi 1.1.5, can I just take the OS files from the Z3 and sideload it on my Z30 non-destructively? I'm not touching the radio at all.

So long as you delete the Z3 radio (qc8930.wtr5).

Thurask, since you've always had the same crackberry profile pic (from what I remember), I always picture the way you look as the guy in the photo. Makes me laugh everytime.

    Fine.

Anyway, I re-extracted the bars with the latest Darcy's Tools (that fix the corruption error). Reuploading, but due to the quirks of Bitcasa, the old link won't point to the new files. I'll update the diff list and this post (and hopefully the first post) with the new bars: http://l.bitcasa.com/kQFNWI5q

I didn't have a problem with the original wallpaper file. There were two card files, though. One of them was a 0 byte file and was causing problems until I realized it was 0 bytes and deleted it. I also added the OS .bar and replaced the Z3 radio file with the .2235 radio bar in the folder dowloaded by Sachesi. So far, it's loading up fine on my wife's Z10. One question, though. Why doesn't the Software Release number change to 2788? Mine's still showing 2160 from the 2234 leak.

(Anybody want to go play the lottery with all those numbers? Sheesh! LOL)

And another question; what's the purpose of the brick file? Isn't it just the OS, apps and radio, anyway? Why not non-destructively load that one up with Sachesi, DDPB, BBHTool, Darcy's Tool, Chrome, etc?

    EDIT:
Even though I replaced the radio file, it still gave an error upon rebooting the wife's Z10. I still had to flash the 2235 radio. That makes no sense. I guess there's more to the radio autoloader than just the radio bar file.

Well after running the autoloader (this time) everything is fine. All the problems I was having with the radio have gone. However after all this hassle the Mrs comes up to me and says ' I've been having problems all day on EE.' grrr she could of told me earlier!!

That usually happens when updating with Sachesi. It should switch over to 2788 after a while, but if you really want it, you can use an autoloader. Which probably isn't worth it.

To get the software version number to update I've always done the following:

1.) Power down the device, if possible: remove battery and hold power button for 15 seconds.
2.) Power back up and allow to settle down, takes roughly another 5-10 minutes after it boots.
3.) Reboot by holding volume up & down for 45 seconds.
4.) After device has booted and settled down again, reboot by using the reboot button after holding the power button a few seconds.

Those steps always seem to help get an OS settled in quickly and easily, in about 30 minutes you'll end up with the same result as just waiting a few days otherwise.

I doubt this change occurred in this version of the OS, but since when is the Network and Connections menu split into Networks and Connectivity Services? I swear they used to be all together... or maybe I'm just losing it?

That's what I did. I wasn't in the mood for the full restore thing today. I already had a 2235 radio installed. No issues.

    Ooookkkkayyyyyyyyyy hollddd uppppp.

    Question about this backup/restore:

The people that have backed up before running the AUTOLOADER are getting the android apps automatically re installed upon restore? along with saved progress data?

Just need an official answer, just seeing bits and pieces of it on here.
