Either an autoloader or a bar file.

If it's 2229 for STL100-3 you want, load this: http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...-v7+signed.bar
Hi Thurask, If its the 2228 radio file for a Q10-100, I need for the best battery performance on the .2234 OS, do you have the bar file available and can you post it. That way I can just drag and drop it into sachesi and its a go. The battery sucks on the 2234/2235 combo. Thanks a ton! Much appreciated.

These files don't necessarily exist. Sachesi just generates the links that would point to these files, if they did exist.

In this situation, the file only exists for Z3 (Jakarta).
Thanks that makes sense. My bad. Was over excited I guess.

I see the issue with 2235 radio. Standby is awesome, but on use, goes downhill fast.

So I need the side-loadable 2228 radio bar file for Z30. Or the 2948 radio bar file if that exists?

    Thanks

thurask, do I just side load this and the radio is there? Update, I tried side loading this bar file and I get a message "failure 500 invalid action"?
Hmm. Radio autoloader might do it, although usual precautions apply.

Ok, so this is not a bar file. So I just back up and run autoloader with z10 connected to computer? Sorry, I have never done just the radio before.

Extract, back up, run autoloader. Same as usual, except this is much smaller and (*hopefully*) won't blitz the user filesystem.

uh oh...did you say "blitz" the user file system? Now I'm feeling a bit intimidated by my z10...it's a first for me. I will dive into this later. Thanks so much Thurask.

    Thurask,
Would this radio autoloader be safe to run for z-10 Verizon STL100-4?
Thanks for all your help you have provided to all of us.

In the past, people sometimes had problems loading radios onto their devices with autoloaders, which would essentially soft brick the device. The most common cause was loading the OS/radio with Sachesi first, then the new radio with the autoloader. Of course, one can never be 100% sure, but this really shouldn't affect your current install.

Now, since I've got nothing better to do, I tried loading the 2229 radio (with an autoloader) on my 2947/2235 install (also with an autoloader). No ill effects, it boots up fine.

It should, or, alternatively, you can try the STL100-4 radio autoloader.

Thurask, you are truly a gentleman. I had installed the OS with the autoloader from the OP. So I shouldn't run into any bricking issues that you caution about.
    Thanks again.

Thank you for being bored! I'm diving in as well, since the 2235/2947 combo is messing with my battery as well!

I have read some postings that auto loading radios when the OS was done non- destructive using Sachesi can cause problems (I have not had problems auto loading radios when the OS was also autoloaded).

So after I install 2947 using Sachesi is it safe to try 2229 radio via autoloader?

    Thanks in advance!
