Yeah yeah, new OS out there, except it isn't new. 10.2.1.2294 is, for some reason, 10.2.1.2141 with one updated bar (sys.data.carrier_data). The build ID and radio are the same between 10.2.1.2141 and 10.2.1.2294, which begs the question: why?

So here's the new bar: http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...-v7+signed.bar
Everything else is older than 3175, 2273, 2947, 2758, 2235, 2228, the list goes on. In fact, even this bar is older than the one in 3175.

Now, as for who's getting this, PTCRB tells me that this OS is certified for the Q5 SQR100-1, so it's for some carrier in North America for the Q5. Furthermore, there is no STL100-1 build for this OS, which tells me that this is a rush job ordered by one of the American carriers. But until this gets pushed, it's just a big question mark.

ALL BARS: You don't need them. Here's the core OS, it's the only thing that might be different. http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...-v7+signed.bar

Nobody should, but the SW version would push this over 2273/2234/2228/etc.

    That's still just 2141.

No, that's 10.2.1.3175. This is the latest OS by build date of the EMR series (10.2.1.2141-10.2.1.2294), but it's actually the same OS as the oldest one. Or it isn't. Or it is...
