I'm on AT&T running OS 2156. I tried checking for updates and it says I have the latest update. What gives?

That's the software release. If you check Settings > About > OS, you should see 10.2.1.2273 as the OS version and 10.2.1.2274 as the Radio version.

While I grabbed the files through Sachesi yesterday evening, I went ahead and ran the update through Link this morning.

I had the T-Mobile version previously that I had loaded through Sachesi. No problems so far. Also, not a whole lot was actually downloaded since only the core OS files, a few settings files and carrier related files were different from the 2228 OS.

I did notice that on top of the usual AT&T stuff (though not that much compared to the amount of bloat they stick on Android phones) they added BlackBerry Newsstand.

    I wonder why?

Isn't that service going dead at the end of this month? I find that kind of strange.

    I already deleted it.

Key Ring holds all the "Rewards" cards so your physical key ring can just hold keys. At the register, if they are using an image scanner instead of a laser scanner...light doesn't scan light...LOL, they can scan the barcode when you display it on your phone. Key Ring was available for OS 7 native, and I had it on my Torch 9850, but not for OS 10. There are some other rewards cards apps, and I was trying out a couple of them, but one of them wants too much personal info for my tastes, and the Key Ring app for Android and iPhone also now lets you view circulars/ads for participating companies...like Target, Kmart, etc...right on your phone, and you can easily 'share' the cards which means I enter them and hubby gets everything I enter on his phone, too. I think you can do shopping lists from it, too. I have Key Ring on my Nexus 7 and put it on the iPhone 5s I had temporarily, and got everything I had entered into Key Ring 'magically' except the iPhone gave me doubles and I had to delete the extras. It is a pretty cool app IMHO.

I am on a Verizon Z30. Was running 2947 with the 2759 radio and the 10.3 browser. Side-loaded the identified newer 2273 files and loaded the 2274 radio. Very quick battery drain this morning--very unusual for my Z30. Will monitor. May have to go back to the 2759 radio.
I have nearly the same setup but I only loaded the radio from this ATT update over the 2795 radio due to the drain and temp on this OS with this radio. This was Thurask's advice and I went with it. He's seldom wrong!! Still have the 2947 OS and the 10.3 browser but now I have the 2274 radio. Will report back on temp and drain after giving it a couple of days. Really bummed as the 2795 radio seemed to be the best we've had. May go back if this isn't any better and start dumping apps to see if one of them is affecting it.

    Try this......

Grab the appropriate link[s] for your said device - Core OS, All App Bars, and the Radio.

Once you've downloaded the appropriate files, install them in this order. This is for the nondestructive way, that I use.

    1 - Core OS

    2 - Radio - - - - - - -|
    | - I don't think it really matters what order you load these, this is how I do it, personally
    3 - All app bars - - |

Once you're done you should have 10.2.1.2273 OS an 10.2.1.2274 Radio - I've copied post 31 to try and make your life easier
Thanks for the reply. I always use sachesi to install bar files. I'm using STL100-1. It's only this morning that I can't install the core os, only the radio file was successfully installed. I tried to load other core os from previous leak but still no changes. Now, I installed the autoloader for 10.2.1.2102 and upgrade the core os and radio file to 10.2.1.2273, but still no luck. Only the radio was installed. And I can't even restore my back up from 10.2.1.2156.

Thurask: do you think those 5 newer files you posted actually make any difference? Bug fixes maybe? Just curious what you think and if you've noticed anything different? Thanks again!

hi, i just installed this new update on my q10. i did it over the phone on home wifi. the install installed, then it asked to restart, so hit that, and then its been stuck for about an hour and a half so far with just the pink bb logo start up thing.
question is, should i try to take out the battery to restart or continue to wait? ATT is my service

did you have your plugged in the whole time? If you press and hold on the pink bb logo whiles its booting it switches to percentage and tells you how long is left. My phone took like an hour+ to install update and reboot so just give it time...if not then battery pull.

Loaded them but don't notice any difference. Will give it some time--hate loading carrier bloat as well!

The radio and core bar files are not installing. Comming up with Errors, the installation process skips them and installs the apps. folks that dont have the new OS name in the device might be having the same issue but dont know it.

You posted this in the group this morning at close to NOON, and even then I said it didn't work! Make sure you at least test links before posting. Or else there will be posts upon posts saying links don't work....
