Apologies for these probably naive questions.

I'm a Q10 from T-Mobile US, model SQN100-5. The current installed OS is 10.2.1.2228. If I run Sachesi and search with the values for T-Mobile and SQN100-5, it only shows me .2228 available. If I want to install .2273, how do I proceed? Will the Q10/Q5 autoloader work? That is, will this version work on my Q10?

Is there a way to do this non-destructively with Sachesi? I'm a little vague on which files to use. Okay, "a little vague" is understatement. I'm completely in the dark.

The newest with a Radio file is from Sprint: 310/120/Q10/SQN 100-4.
Download all will create a 10.2.1.2674 folder from same location you launch Sachesi.
Just click install and point to folder or open folder, then drag and drop all files into Sachesi.
Likely take around 45 minutes or so to install and reboot. Non-destructive this way.
    HTH.

Thanks. And this version for Sprint SQN100-4 will work on my T-Mobile SQN100-5? That's the part that has me confused.

Edit: I have used Sachesi in the past, but I was under the impression I could only install the software specific to my model number.

Edit 2: I guess the answer is no. I went ahead and tried it, and nothing installed.

I'll try again and take notes of what happens. But my main question is still unanswered. Is this Sprint release suitable for the SQN100-5?

Yes, the Q10 Sachesi updates will work for *any* model of Q10.

For instance, my Q10 is SQN100-2 (Verizon) but I updated via Sachesi to TMobile's OS 10.2.1.2234 for SQN100-3. Works perfectly. The only thing I did was delete the included "My TMobile" apps since I didn't need them.

Well, I did it and here's what happened.

The drag and drop method caused Sachesi to fail at the outset. So I used the folder browser to select the 10.2.1.2674 folder and that worked. Until it hit a file near the end of the list, at which point Sachesi failed again. I checked that bar file and found it had 0 bytes. I moved it out of the folder and used the bar file chooser to install the remaining few files. No problem.

    I reset the Q10.

But as I check the About screen, the OS is still .2228. So nothing is changed.

Try running folder option and any bar file that lock it up, move them out.
On Verizon SQN 100-2 and I installed this version without a hitch.
Edit: Quite sure after a failure, you have to start ALL files again.

Start the folder installation again, since you already removed the file which caused the previous install to fail. You need to run the install process from the beginning each time.

    Which file caused the fail?

The file that caused the fail was wtg-10.12.48..etc. It had zero bytes. Interestingly, I've just repeated the Sachesi download on my office computer and that file has 35 kb. So I've started running the installation again from the top and we'll see what happens this time.

Thanks for the help with this.

The install went through without a hitch. The Q10 did a reset, which is still in progress at least five minutes later. The blue progress squircle is still not halfway complete. This actually taking longer than a PlayBook reset, but--aha! After lagging like that, it just sped around and finished.

OS Check: .2758, software version .2674. That looks okay. It's too soon to say how things are working, but at least the install went through and the phone is back online. Thanks again for the help. I guess I should take further comments to another thread, since this one is for .2273.

Hey Thurask, what are the radio differences exactly ?? I've been running 2274 for over week without a hitch, but appreciate your insight !!

Edit: you meant use 2274 Radio with 2947 OS.... Got it !!
