OK prior to installing this new leaked o/s i was running 10.2.1.1259 this was an ok o/s my android apps all worked fine even using the snap app to download directly. but once i installed the newest leak 10.2.1.1925 i cannot get any android app to work on my z10 stl100-4 i tried to reinstall the old o/s but still the android apps still dont work. has anyone else come across this issue before. is their a fix to this issue. PLEASE HELP
Mine was loaded and I reloaded my apps and settings with Blackberry Link then side-loaded Snap and re-installed the three apps I use. So far it is very fast and "snappy". The best build there I have had. The battery seems to be holding steady during all this installing and updating.

Pretty darn snappy here too! Google Maps 7.4 is working just super............... Browser is smokin'!
I downloaded Google Maps 7.5 and was amazed at how fast it was and also checked out the Browser as you mentioned. Blazing fast! Thanks!

Oh come on, you guys have been saying the same thing about every leaks since OS5. Of course it'll always be faster when you make a clean install. I need feedback from people who have at least 4-5 accounts synching and a min of 6gbs of apps installed.

    THIS ^^
4 accounts, 6.67 GB restored, reporting! Loaded this a couple days ago. Restoring went well. HUB was a bit laggy at first which I thought was a little off cuz everyone was sounding off in the forums saying how fast HUB loads on this new OS. After a couple restarts though, everything was up and running. I got the usual notifications to re-enter the passwords for my accounts (2 emails, fb and twitter). FB took a while to populate the contacts photos but eventually it did. Texts, settings, contacts, accounts and app data all restored.

Then it was off to restoring android apps. I've got about 8 or so from SNAP. There's gotta be a better way to restore .apks. Someone has to make an app that can store them all and then restore them for you like BB world does when you restore from a backup. Maybe the developer of SNAP can make something like that happen? I mean, we have to sign into our google accounts anyways. But I digress.

I'd actually just installed the .1259 leak the day before. So coming from that, I can say this OS is a lot better. I noticed in .1259, apps were starting to lag a little bit, including CB. But after 2 days so far, I can def say everything's settled and things are good. Apps (core system apps) and a few blackberry made apps open pretty quickly. It's definitely a lot faster than .1259 I don't see a change in .apks opening though. People say the runtime's better in this one but my android apps still open about the same same speed as previous OS.

Oh I almost forgot. Battery is excellent in this leak as well. Definitely one of the best batter life i've had so far on a leak. Went almost 2 days without a charge and I'm almost always on my phone!

4 accounts, 6.67 GB restored, out!

I remember a brilliant app from my android days called Titanium Back up which would back up all your apps to a file and then restore them again with a click, that was very convenient when you had in excess of 60 apps

Sorry, don't know what you're doing on your phones but I always run out of juice twice a day. I'll try this leak later on and see the changes.

Yobil which leak are you on now?

I've never had my phone last me a day prior to this leak and granted I've only been using it for a couple of days, let's see how things fair today but my initial opinion is that the battery life certainly is better on this leak

I always do a security wipe after a leak install and then do my "restore"

Hello - Z10STL100-1/10.2.1.1259 which I loaded 3 days back. I notice a change in battery but not much - maybe because I am a heavy user plus I have BES.

I do the same except that I don't do restore - always fresh OS whenever I try leaks.

I am also on an STL 100-1 and recommend you give this latest leak a try it does feel more fluid in performance than the others and I do believe the battery life is more consistent

That's great to hear. Will try that when I get home today. I'm downloading the file on Torrent and currently sitting at 80%. Hope to reach 100% soon! Thanks!

Actually I haven't wiped my phone since the 10.1 maintenance release shipped. I have upgraded to 10.2, 10.2.1.1055, and then 10.2.1.1925 all w/o wiping my phone. Luckily I have been a part of the BES BETA program so I haven't had to install any leaks, just the OTA BETAs as BB made them available to me.

I can say that 10.2.1.1925 seems snappier to me than 10.2.1.1055 or 10.2. And for the record my main memory is almost full (thanks to Xmas give aways) and I have multiple accounts syncing in the back ground. :-)

On the second day, my phone was noticeably warm, with no real usage, though wifi was turned on. I charged the phone at 10 pm to 100%. Overnight, with only wifi active and the phone, of course, battery went down to 90%. One phone call and Bluetooth and wifi on, but no use, I am down to 81%. The phone isn't warm anymore.
    System settings show only:
    System:8.2%
    display 4%
    standby 3%
    PIM 2.4%
    all else < 0.35%
Any ideas on why the drain so quickly with minimum use?

A reasonable expectation, you either have just the one theme or you offer two or more.. not one and a half.

I totally agree. especially on the Q10 where everything is dark and then the Hub pops your eyes out with the white background. I don't get why they haven't yet brought us dark Hub and emails.

I think this depends on your carrier because I see no way to do it on AT&T 's network:
    10.2.1.1925,...is Pretty Snappy!-img_20131226_112341.png

Pressing and holding on the AT&T entry does nothing.
