I don't know why but systems is draining my battery life also and it's painfully obvious. Its very annoying I thought after 48 hours it would be done indexing my device

It can take generally two to three days before your device settles. If it is still running fast and hard after another day, I'd consider the battery pull. If it works, great. If not, you haven't lost anything.

Try updating the radio to 1926. That fixed it for me.

Note: I also did a battery pull and left it out for 5mins. I get 2-3 days with moderate usage on one charge. Good luck!

I tried battery pulling and that did not seem to work I can't find what is causing it...it takes 15 mins for me to drop from 100 percent battery to 90

I finally tracked my main source of drain to WiFi. Turning it off has made a huge difference. The overall situation is gradually improving and battery life is certainly amazing when I'm out of the office or house and not on WiFi. Wish I had stronger LTE at those locations.

The Device Monitor tools provide a wealth of information. Even though the issue is improving, I'm still going to delete saved WiFi networks and reenter them to see if this makes a difference.

As previously stated, what works for some might not work for others when it comes to finding a fix.

I simply pulled the 1800 mAh battery that came with the device and replaced it with a 3800 mAh battery!

note : "rule of the thumb" delay for your device to settle down is up to one week and several battery charge cycles. For Z30 (non removable battery) I'd be tempted to suggest you let your device drain 100% before plug it back to charge (may compare to a battery pull).
    FWIW.

Guys, I think I may have found what it is. I have disabled "Blackberry Protect" and "Blackberry Link" and the problem seems to be gone. Can you please also test and provide your feedback?

    Thanks!
