Ok, always seems to be a debate on restore vs non restore. So, that being said, lets dive in... I know 10.2.1.1259 is still very new and most are still letting it settle at this point, but figured I would get the jump on it.
So, lets see what (if any) bugs we got and PLEASE be honest. Restored or Fresh install, we will not judge... ok... we will try...

Oh, and device and carrier information also. The more info the better
Thanks everyone, and remember, keep it civil.

List of Linked to restore issues will follow here also:

Dark Themes still seem to be sacrificed with restore.
Looks like apn and mms message issue still present with wipe for some
Wallpaper issue is in the os itself, restore or fresh, still there.
Beta BBM is an OS compatibility issue also.
Few instances of apks not loading (with internal device instal, sideloads ok) after a restore but fixed after reload of os fresh.
Camera not rotating for pictures occured with no restore, fixed after soft reboot.

So far, zero issues, unless you count beta BBM not working.

This is my first time installing a leak without a restore, and so far so good. No bugs noticed yet, but the OS does seem snappier.

That being said, I never really noticed any bugs when I restored from a previous version. Must just be lucky.

Please tell us what carrier & model?
Also, what ver. was the backup from (10.2.0.x, 10.2.1.1055)? Every little bit helps.

No problems with fresh install except that Blackberry World won't detect and allow me to update to the newest Twitter App.
Found that when I do a restore all the accounts won't turn off in the contacts app settings.

Had the same issue. I first sideloaded the BBM from 1055, the loaded the BBM from Beta Zone App (ran but some issues) then installed the upgrade from BlackBerry World and voila - life is good

    Z10 AT&T 100-3 with full restore from 1055

Dark themes in contacts not working. And they didn't work before the full restore either. I actually ran the autoloader 3 times today testing different methods. Once without the sim card trying to avoid that annoying new AT&T contact sync.

Other than that it is a good build.

Have yet to experience any issues. Used BlackBerry link to restore with no problem. Black Theme on Contact active. Have to say the OS is very smooth and fast. Been using a Z30 on Telus carrier in Ottawa.

You are right my friend - I spent 4 hours today (company time no less - but I am the president) and my time would have been better spent not beta testing my BB10 device.

First, download was incredibly fast, less than 10 minutes from the linked Mega site. Second the install went without any hitches. I installed over 10.2.1.1055 on my AT&T STL100-3 without any restore of a previous backup. All data was reinserted by hand and all apps from my account on Blackberry world. Third, I do not attempt to install any Android apps so I cannot comment on anything to do with that process, and I always do a security wipe after the OS install and initial setup and before any data is reloaded or apps.

The new OS seems to be running very well. The only weird bug found is the inability to install Any Blackberry supplied wallpapers from the Display submenu. Personal photos and the Bing wallpaper app work fine, however. The best new feature is the time it takes for the hub to populate after a phone reset or boot from the total off position. Once the phone is done booting, the hub is there. This is a marked improvement over the .1055 leak. Kudos to the leak team!

Wouldn't be the first. They didn't seem to find the humor, years ago when I posted in the BBW pin share thread.

I'm down with that, so long as the contributors stick to the plan, which apparently isn't happening so well.

Sorry, was a little slow editing my first post.

I do have the dark theme on contacts bug. Didn't think to try. I'm sure it's due to my restore.

Another variable.. wipe or not... that seemed to be apn issues for mms probs on 1055... I also do not wipe unless I have issues.
I have all themes available dark and processor already calmed down.
Wulf, did you wipe besides the restore?? You said you are missing dark. Anyone else?

    Q10SQN100-5/10.2.1.1259

Fresh clean install (security wipe included)

Only 2 'issues' seemed to pop up, just the one time. Some of my active frames weren't being shown after I pulled it out of the holster.

The word edit bubble thingy, got stuck, and then never happened again. Guess it was a one-time thing lol

I installed wiped then installed again. All my dark themes stuck after volume key reboot
Though noticed blackberry protect had turned off. Also noticed Weatherbug put temp notification in hub after reboot without opening app.

Nope, I've never been a wipe believer on BBOS, and haven't seen a reason to do it on BB10 either.
