I updated/flashed my STL100-3 using the leaked OS that is in this thread, but my phone still shows my carrier's(T-Mobile) logo during start up and shut down, why? How is that possible if the phone software was reloaded, unless that leak if from T-Mobile.

Of course not; it is a leaked OS to play with!
Running on my STL100-2 it is running prime time. So far better than any other OS and been running it since it was leaked. No issues to date.

I have Z10 locked with EE but no logo at startup or shutdown. Maybe its just Tmobile.

The "second one" is in a zip file -= yes with a .Bat file ? If so that's the one I loaded on my 100-4 Verizon Z10- no issues- if not- I'd need to know more

Thanks. Is there a way to remove the t-mobile splash screen? I have not yet done security wipe, maybe that would help?

I see...thanks. Although I have a leaked OS, the future updates will happen when T-Mobile releases or if Blackberry does?

Hi all, my first post here...Will this leaked os work on the P9982 which has STK100-1? I assumed it was the same as Z10.

    Thank you

It should work, if you use the STL100-2/3 link.

so i skimmed and searched the pages and found a few people talking about the bluetooth issues. i cant seem to get any music to play from my q10 to stereo headset at all. it's connected. when i hit next track, it'll go. but volume wont work and no sound will come through. phone features work. just no music. is there bar i can try to reload? or something? gonna be going on a long flight in a few days and really dont wanna reload the OS yet again after all the reloads while digging for accounts issue.

Ok....just found another bug. BlackBerry maps doesn't work after the update. You tap it.& it just closes. Anyone else experience this? Any fix?

Just opened BlackBerry Maps and it took a while to start, but opened fine with a 1000m register of my location.

Only good thing about this leak was being able to install Apks directly.

Apart from that it's unreliable and a pile of ****.

Would anyone be willing to donate 2 OLD blackberries to me? I want to use them as bookends
Did u have to side load a bar file, or does it just work after the upgrade? For me, as soon as the app pops up, it closes & jumps to the 1st page.

    Oops.... Wrong quote. My bad

Wow! And here I thought it was the very best OS I have used to date, and I've loaded a number of them on my Z10. Thanks for straightening me out......

    That is my honest opinion

If only it was a bit more reliable and fluid like it should be!

Think of it this way, we've never seen a release OS in the 1000 block. 14xx is generally where release-quality builds start (cf. 10.1.0.1483, 10.2.0.1443), so we have a long while's worth of fixes and improvements to implement.

No problem, you are entitled to your opinion even if others strongly disagree with you based on their experience with the leaked OS. Personally, some issues yes but it rocks!

I love the fact I don't have to side load apps anymore however it just doesn't have the fluid feel and reliability if you know what I mean.

I fully respect your opinion. But it's quite possible that the problems you're having could be fixed with a reload/wipe and avoiding doing certain things after installation. I haven't had any issues at all.
