just upgraded to leak 10.2.1.1055 which is great, except one thing: I have 3 e-mail accounts on my z10, gmail, live and ms exchange server (work e-mail). every time I restart my phone the exchange account disappears (e-mail, contacts, calendar) and I'm being asked to enter device password again and after that it starts syncing all the e-mails, contacts and calendar entries. this happens every time I switch off my phone, swap batteries or just a restart.
syncing again takes about 30 mins and 20% of the battery. any idea how I can fix this?

I found that deleting the Exchange email account entirely - and then rebooting - then re-creating that account really helped.
It was a function of the Exchange Server security on the Work account. My other Exchange accounts didn't suffer this. (I have Gmail, Exchange [work], and Office365)

Mine's disappearing as well on restart. Work activesync exchange email. Gmail and Live Mail work just fine. Just my luck.

If I don't get this resolved, I need to dump the q10 and go with the bulletproof iphone 5s that was gathering dust in my closet. THanks.

Tried deleting the account, reboot and then create the account again...didn't help.
Will try a security wipe tonight, if will not help downgrade to 10.2.0 is the only option I have as this is getting ready annoying

How can I downgrade to 10.2.0. I've tried with BlackBerry link, with restore, but when I pressed that, it started looking for some new software, then it said it couldn't find any new software, and that's all. Any tips for me? This is the first time I installed a leaked on a BlackBerry.

Here's my post from how I did it: (special note, you may need to delete 10.2.1 from your PC before starting the process). Here is the link to habs_fan tutorial: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...ier-os-836949/

I downgraded back to official TMO 10.1 on my Q10 from leaked 10.2.1. Although 10.2.1 ran almost flawlessly, I ran into a problem syncing my BES contacts which was a deal breaker for me.

A special thanks to habs_fan for his helpful how to located here:
I had install os 10.2.0.341 Z10 Reverting to Carrier OS

For most, 10.2.1 will probably run just fine, but having my hosted BES running smoothly is more important than the latest OS; but it was fun testing it out.

Happening to me too. Not ready to downgrade but would really like resolution.

My "resolution" is not to reboot.

But seriously, its happening to me as well. Live and Google are fine. Exchange Active Sync needs the password again and starts resyncing. I went so far as to reinstall using Mecca EL's technique (which includes a wipe), but it didn't fix it. Oh well. I'll just avoid reboots until the next leak.

Happens to me as well, but found a work around. After rebooting, keep an eye on it, and as soon as the hub loads, you are prompted to enter your device password. Enter it and you should be good to go. I have found that if I reboot and don't enter the password quickly enough, the account dissappears and I have to re-sync.

Yes, works for them as well, although they seem to resync much faster than the messages anyways.

My push email delivery isn't delayed. If I take an action on an email, it's delayed but it has always been ever since I started using bb10.

I had the problem, though much more severe, when 10.1 was first released. Worked closely with BlackBerry through the MR to get it fixed. It affected all US carriers. They fixed it just before the MR was sent to carriers. Seems 10.2.1.1055 has reintroduced it.

I have a bunch of issues with this build though - hoping the next leak deals with them.

I updated to the official 10.2.1.537 OS from Rogers on my Z10 and I spent the whole day trying to figure out what's going on with my work Office 365 email. Must've added and re-added my account 5-6 times today to fix the issue. I did try removing the email account and rebooting the phone, adding it, and rebooting again and it stayed on without asking me to retype my password and resync entirely but it just rebooted a second time and it caused the account to force resync again. I'm going to keep trying different things but I thought I'd continue off this thread...

Any help or advice would be appreciated. I'll update this with my findings as I go. I'd prefer not to downgrade the OS.

It seems it's a known issue with this build. I learned to live with it but I hope it gets fixed soon

A temporary workaround I found in another thread suggested whenever you need to reboot, put your phone in airplane mode, reboot, wait for the hub to load, turn off airplane mode, wait for the passcode box to show up, and enter your device passcode and it should prevent the account from resyncing. I've tried this a couple of times and it's worked both times successfully so we'll see until BlackBerry releases an update.
