    Hehe multiple alarms

    Posted via CB10
But can you set the alarms in the Calendar?
That is the multiple alarm feature that I really need.
My alarms are often the next day, or a future date.
When I talk about wanting multiple alarms, that's what I'm thinking about.

It is only visible if it has to boot up the android runtime. Android runtime environment is on a delayed startup. Reboot the phone and immediately open an android app. You'll see that screen. If you reboot and wait 30 minutes and open said android app it will most likely load right into the app. I think they (or a developer) should change that screen into a picture of the green DROID bot.

Edit: I don't know what the delay on the android boot is. I was just throwing out the 30 min to be safe.

It already has data monitoring built into the API. That's where all those Data Monitoring apps are getting their info, they are just grabbing it from the built in BB info.

Check this out yall. I was running my wallpaper app which has a "mega bar" feature which puts the weather, date and battery percent at the top. Anyhow, like other apps it requires it to be an active frame for it to work. Once you close the app the meg bar goes away too.

Well just a while ago I had my daily reboot while this wallpaper app was running and when the phone came back on the app was closed obviously BUT the mega bar info is still there like it's a headless app.

There was a thread on this already. That happens when the app doesn't properly close.

The "bar" is part of the wallpaper. It won't update, it's just a wallpaper.

    Even Shao himself said so.

Darn you're right. I opened the app and the bar updated. Thought I had a good bug in my software.

To anyone asking about the CPU activity indicator - this is nothing new. Developers have been able to enable this on the official Developer releases (Dev Alpha A/B/C) in the past. It won't make an official 10.2 release, so this shows that it's a development build possibly with extra debugging information rather than a 'release' production build.

I suspect the varying battery life people have seen from previous leaks might be related to development vs release builds too. I don't want to downgrade though just to see if the developer CPU meter was avaliable in the older leaks. If it was, chances are there is poor battery life because the device is constantly writing diagnostic data somewhere.

Finally, I think people need to check the roadmaps over at the BlackBerry Developer website. Certain features like the Android Runtime have been confirmed for a June "developer" BETA release whilst other features of 10.2 aren't scheduled to be avaliable to "developers" unil August! If Developers like me don't get things until August then obviously it'll be coming upto Christmas before there's a general public release from your carrier.

Of course we can always hope for more leaks. Thanks leakers, keep up the good work.

It's 10.2.0.93 and apparently BlackBerry is already up to 10.2.0.3XX so there's really no reason to release this preliminary build. I'm still hoping one of the newer ones leaks at some point soon
