Lol the title is on top level of creativity, if you have been following how cats was slain and insurgents got their top secret Reem server 10.2 package, all because of the same questions have been asked over and over again. Title, ur a star. Please don't change lol.

I don't see why this mysterious person doesn't just come out and say it was them. I'm wondering if it's the same person that changed it the first time.

Just curious. And if they change it for the better, that's good I guess. But that's enough of that, I lost interest.

I agree. Just do it and save half the thread from discussing and figuring out who you are and why cats.

    To: mysterious person,
Just come out and save this one before it derails again.

That's really weird how I have 10.2.0.483 OS with 10.2.0341 radio and works like a full OS would. But you can't with any of the higher 10.2 OS'. It's probably been asked before but I haven't seen it myself.

Why can't you just slap on a 341 radio on this OS Kris?

Kris just want you to know, you've done a lot for the Crackberry denizens already. I don't know why the people here(only a few) can't be patient. You do all the work and they just leech. I'm running 10.1.0.4543 and I am thoroughly pleased. I for one really appreciate your tenacity in making the BB experience better. You have my vote for President brother.

I would bet that BlackBerry is trying to prevent leaks by first showing the PIN all over the place. When that didn't work they probably rev-locked the radio to the OS so that Hybrids couldn't be created and that loading just the OS (for development testing purposes) would create a perfectly usable Dev device - just without the calling (to make it useless as a daily driver).

I know I came here thinking, did Kris change his mind? or What's new with .783? Then I saw the OP, and the poster, and I thought the topic was going to get shut within minutes, somehow it's still open...

It's possible that there are differences in the code (if I'm way off I'm sure someone will correct me). I don't think you can just dump any radio file on any os, like a 10.0 radio on 10.1 os. And for the record he has tried.

    ^ this

I've tried every possible app file relating to phone/data/carrier no luck, I've tried 228/341 from 10.2 and even 10.1 radios to no avail.

Without a proper radio, I can't get it to work. I was tipped off 4633 may work, but it didn't.

Kris stated above that any OS that is not for a carrier is going to have the pin. These are internal builds for development and testing not for carrier release. I think that the phone calls piece may have to do with the radio file for it being a separate entity and not being leaked with the os file. Again could be way wrong.
