No likey.Charmbar was nicer was black and bolder,This just white on white text gets in the way of visuals.Slide out charm bar> this too pc-ish lame.Only benefit i see its nearer to the text and people's thumbs dont have to navigate across.

Hmm neutral. 60-40 not liking it.
It's very reminiscent of how it's done in the android runtime. I'd say they are trying to go for a little more consistency between the two, I think they are accepting that at least in the short term a lot of the top apps are going to be android ports, especially with the jelly bean runtime coming out, and maybe the ability to run ports with native code... they want to minimize the difference in user experience between the two as much as possible.

Well, we can probably use the bar files to make a hybrid, pick and choose what we like and works well.

    I belive 483 and 663 are A10 OS's

    Posted via CB10
That would mean that the A10 is getting an Exynos 5 chipset then.

I seem to be able to do the gesture just fine.

Sure, there are times when you forgot you can go back because the button is not there to remind you of that capability, but I don't think the solution is to force it permanently on and reduce the Android screen real estate

I agree it should be removable, but don't forget that it provides not only back button functionality, but also the "three dot menu". Lots of Android apps are useless or nearly useless without that menu. (ie K9email)

It's interesting. On my Google voice side load the menus are on the app itself maybe since it is a jb apk? Takes up more screen I guess but on the Z it doesn't bother me.

    Vine - Normal Sideload

    WORKS!!!

well to an extent...it'll log me in, I can't record a video. I managed to get one video to play, however it restarted my phone upon the "loop" cycle of the video. Next load, this time a video just crashed the app before load.

Installed FaceBook Home and Facebook for Android.

Upon launch of Home, it launches FB for Android automatically.

    Photo Sync Works

    Chat Head - didn't work

however I got the FB HOME LAUNCHER TO WORK
