    Still not working

I wonder: have you tried side loading the 483 phone app bars and using the 341 radio?

So I've come to find it is a OS issue, not a radio issue, as it doesn't matter what radio I flash. Also after every reboot, my mobile network is turned off by default, so I have to reenable it
I would think that it is not one or the other but a compatability issue. I created the exact same problem when I installed 483 Os over the. 92 radio. I was able to remedy the problem by loading either the 92 Os or. 341 radio, both restored my ability to make calls. Maybe we just don't have a radio that is compatible with a build in the .6xx range yet. I'd think the best way to get it working would be to identify the Os bars that are dependent on radio interaction then side load older versions of them that are compatible with a radio that we have. Could take significant experimentation but I would think the it's probably the easiest way to solve this problem.

Surprisingly though I would sort of be interested to know for how many people it wouldn't... I know a few friends of mine where literally the only time their phone rings it's some spam call...
I'd install in a heartbeat with no phone call functionality. My last phone call was over a month ago

I was curious about a percentage when I said it. Personally it wouldn't bother me that much, my mom and dad might be a little annoyed though.

For realz I could see that, a few years ago I probably wouldn't have needed the phone part, but now I would, it's odd to think about. I'm thinking a poll should be done on this a little bit in the future when BB10 has taken over the majority of sales, I would really like to get a statistics based answer to this

I like how BlackBerry is shifting their strategy, listening to us. Now they just need to pull out an Aristo worthy of being a flagship but not BlackBerry flagship, an all around compared to all flagship than can compare to size, specs and all with S4, Note III and all those.

People want specs even though it can run with less, a crazy battery even though it's efficient, so give the people what they want.

10.2 is rocking my socks off. Literally.

Without a working radio, I doubt it is good enough to be a daily driver.

Also, there was an update to google maps to version 7.0.1. It only supports Android 4.0 and up. How does it run on it? Here's the link to convert it and try it.

I can't express how much i hate that bar...

Whereas for the kinds of Android apps I typically run, not having it makes a lot of them completely unusable.

The best way to do it is to put it there but give a way to hide it.

    I agree with that.

I feel no sense of loss...it's actually kind of convenient as the back arrow is right by my thumb (and yes I know the gesture).

On the original Verizon OS as you probably remember, the Android runtime gestures didn't work 80% of the time. So without the bar, you couldn't do "back" if your life depended on it more often than not.

Luckily they seem to have gotten that mostly sorted, but I still like having the option of the dedicated buttons, they work more reliably than the gestures in my experience.

In other news, I'm stoked about the Task Manager thing and some of the other new features Kris is demonstrating here.

    Thanks Kris.

I am using 10.2.0.483 and tried it, it works perfect, only one problem, you cannot sign in.
Traffic option works too (saw it working for the first time in India :P) and voice guidance works too.

I remember. It was very frustrating to do the gesture multiple times an not be able to get it to work.

I seem to be able to do the gesture just fine.

Sure, there are times when you forgot you can go back because the button is not there to remind you of that capability, but I don't think the solution is to force it permanently on and reduce the Android screen real estate

Q10 owners are going to have a fun time with Skype now. Even more fun, I mean

I would like to separate my personal and professional accounts, and this feature appears to of died down, fair enough it's not in 10.1 but 10.2?
