This is the stripped-down SDK version of 10.2.0.1791 for all devices (except Z30). Don't load this and expect your media apps to be there.

Seeing as how this OS and the 10.2.0.1791 simulator have been released by BlackBerry yesterday (plus the 10.2.0.1791 leak, of course), I think we might be seeing more of 1791 in the future.

The .1791 leak is probably VERY VERY close.

And, seriously, it's almost as easy to install as an official release. Download the autoloader (find it in this thread: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...evices-858678/ ), back your phone up in Link, run the autoloader with Link shut down and your phone connected by USB, run through the setup, and then open Link again and run a restore.

If you're on 10.1 now, you'll be WAAAAY closer to the full-release version of 10.2. 1791 might actually BE the full-release version. It actually is that good.

Is .1793 the Full OS? Is in .1791 anything that is not in .1793 (ex.apps?)?

The build is only meant for developers to test their apps on it. Many core features and apps are missing, e.g. no global search, cannot add facebook/foursquare/linkedin account, no alarm clock. However, you could still test apps and install apps from BlackBerry World.

That wasn't his question. He wanted to know if the system files included in 1793 were the same version as the system files included in 1791. Darcy's tool would allow you to compare the bar file versions in both autoloaders for comparison

Cap.exe is the program that allows one to create executable autoloader files. It's updated to 3.10.0.46 in this release compared to 3.10.0.41 in the 1445 Dev OS autoloader.

It is very good, and super easy. After 10 minutes my phone was ready for restore and I thought I did something wrong it went so fast and easily . I have had no issues with this leak, great improvements.

Here's cap 3.10.0.46 separated from the rest of the autoloader. Not sure what's changed, as is usual for updates to cap.
