Not sure if anyone wants this file, but it doesn't quite extract right with SachUp so I thought some people might like to try it out. Doesn't seem like much has changed, but the javascript files for the UI have grown considerably...

Report back here with your findings! Remember, the webkit engine underneath the browser isn't being updated with this file, only the UI that you interact with so don't expect it to make sites work that didn't previously!

Also, I loaded this up on my Q10 running 10.1.0.4285 and it worked just fine so it should be good to go with pretty much any 10.1 OS.

Thanks for this, I use the browser extensively.
Does installing this wipe out the saved bookmarks in your current browser?
Also, I would love to a) figure out how to toggle java on/off and b) find the internal spot where the bookmarks are saved. -Just in case anyone has any insight on this.

It didn't wipe out any of my bookmarks, they all stayed intact. You can roll back to a 10.1 browser if needed as well.

How are you finding this browser compared to the stock one or one with 2354?

I was going to try this for my Z10

Okay, so I tried this 10.2.0.14 browser, and after hammering it I found a problem, the browser crashed every time I tried to change the "drop down box" (I don't know how it called). For example in this web page : http://m.gsmarena.com/blackberry_z10-review-886.php
when I tried to change the page, the browser always crashed, and this issue can be replicated on any website with drop down box. Picture attached below. Re-sideloading 10.1 browser file, restart, and everything goes back to normal.

Did you downgrade just the browser version or the entire os? I have experienced the browser crashes on both 10.2.0.14 browser and 10.2.0.10 browser that came packaged with the autoloader.

edit: and if you downgraded just the browser which version did you revert to?

I have tried multiple 10.1 browser bars and also the browser from the 10.2 alpha release. All suffer the same crashes at least for me.

I can only guess this is related to the webkit, but not sure.

Wouldn't a browser's speed be attributed to render engine? We need a new webkit bar.

Webkit is integrated into the OS so there isn't a separate BAR for it. The browser BAR looks like it is mainly for the user interface. So there may be some minor differences between browser versions on the same webkit.

I've got a Browser BAR that resolves this issue.
    Will upload it tomorrow

I tried many browser BAR which still had the same issue of crashing when on a drop down menu etc.

But this other browser bar fixed the problem

There isn't one imho - hope he proves me wrong, but I have tried every browser bar going back to 10.0; this is a webkit issue. Until someone can successfully dissect the core os and extract a webkit it is a non-starter.
