I don't know if it's a (convenient) bug or something. But since I restarted my Q10 100-3, half an hour ago, the (annoying) black bar lying at the bottom of Android ports and sideloaded apps has disappeared. Here are a couple of screenshots of Andoid apps running on my phone (NB: my system is in French). Does anyone have the same "issue"?..

No way, man! I am so happy with my sideloaded apps going "fullscreen" again, just like when my phone was running 10.1!

Seems like it's a bug, since the black bar does not appear even when I swipe down from top of the screen.

Diagonal swipe up from the bottom corner, like in BB10.1.

Mate, could u teach me how to do it lol!!
    I really need it.
By swiping from right corner to the left u (like 10.1) it would take u back no need to that annoying bar.
How did u make it disappear??

We've seen a lot of people reporting this but it comes back quickly. I had this happen on my Z10 as well but come back after a bit.

If you could provide a tutorial and show that it isn't coming back that would be nice...

It is. I've had it happen on the Z10. It'll be back when you reset.

I reinstalled the .810 android runtime and the android bar was back. So I decided to do a hard reboot by holding volume up and down buttons until it restarted an that seems to do the trick for my Z10. Already did 3 reboots just in case, and the bar is gone!!!

Unfortunately, I just can't tell you 'cause I didn't "make" the black bar disappear: it just disappeared on its own!
Fingers crossed that it won't come back...

I've had this happen on my Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.1047, it'll resort back to the bar upon a device reboot. For me at least....

It's not gonna happen mainstream guys, this was a tradeoff to get more developers to develop and port apps for BlackBerry... There are a few people working a solution though, so hold tight for awhile...

I can report that the black bar is gone after side loading the .810 runtime and doing a hard reset on z10

Really? It should be if you load a runtime that never had the bar to begin with...

In fact with Candy Crush running I wouldn't be shocked if that's what the OP did...

In fact, it depends on the app. Most Android sideloaded apps include a navigation bar (generally at the top), so I can easily go back.

    Short-time experience...
Just like Amy Winehouse, I'm going "back to black".
The "flasher" bar reappeared after reboot.
Hiding or showing, let's hope BB will give us the choice.
    Who knows...
