Yes. I used Sachup to pull radio file from .341 and flashed it with this OS. Working great so far on Q10.

    Hey gdong
I wouldn't even try to use this hybrid on the 4285 OS. There is a full 4285 OS available for the Q10. Just load that leak.
I made this hybrid because Z10 does not have a 4285 compatible 10.1 radio. Currently, using the hybrid seems to disable GPS lock on for Z10 users, although Q10 users seem to be fine.
Battery life is the best I've seen so far

I installed this I have 003, on att, and my gps won't lock on either, everything else seems fine, and seems to be no stuttering at all, from app to app and Web pages.

Yah, GPS is the only downside for Z10 users. Q10 users seem to have perfect GPS lockon.
Not sure where the problem is. But from what I understand, it can't be fixed, because it's simply a radio/OS incompatibility

    hey scarhead,

I am currently running the 10.1.0.4285 os full leak on my q10, however battery life I feel is ok, not excellent. I take it off the charger at 8am and it can be done into the 70s% by noon and I wouldn't have used it much. It also gets quite warm as soon as I use it for a bit.

If I understood this correctly, the other guy here is using 4285 with the radio taken from 10.2.0.340? Supposedly this might fix my battery issue.

That is the combo I use on my Z10,not sure if the gps works though as I have no use for it but it gives me good battery life and runs smooth. I get after about 4 hours of playback of downloaded podcasts or streaming radio, battery is down to about 70% battery with the 340 radio.I consider this good as I have found with some radio files its down to between 30% and 40% at times. Not sure though how it would run with Q10 though

I use this combo on my q10 and it is very nice on battery and performance. There are minor bugs with this OS as it seems like an early .2 release as has been noticed in the past. I wish the apps would have better Q10 support it seems like their sreens and buttons were made for the Z10. This is my only gripe with this OS hybrid and the Q10.

If you want a really stable OS system for your phone, give 10.1.0.4285 OS + 10.2.0.228 radio a try
It basically gives you the equivalent of 228 without the restore issue
As far as I can see, everything is working like it should, including calls, email, etc
And, you can also update the apps via sachibar to most of 228 apps, including the android runtime (which is still sadly 2.3.3)
Surprisingly it works, because one is 10.1, the other is 10.2. I suspect that 10.2.0.228 is either a glorified version of 10.1 with the visual updates, or 10.1.0.4285 is a pre-alpha version of 10.2
The 4285 OS is from the Q10 leak, and the 228 is the leak by Kris and lbfe

Update: Battery life is better than any other combination I've tried. 5% in 10 hours with light use on both radios
Update 2: This also works with the 340 radio. 4285 may have been a 10.2 in disguise
Update 3: GPS is not working on this build. It seems to be linked to the radio file (neither 228 or 341 work). Most likely not due to coreOS because there wasn't an issue on the Q10
I liked the battery part until I saw "GPS is not working". Probably disabled the GPS portion of the device was how it came to last so long with the battery lol

I know because this is done on my 4S with the things running in the background.

    Naw, it won't float.
4285 is much newer and is the equivalent to 228+. Even if GPS works, you'll end up with other things not working, like phone calling
.93 is the equivalent of the 2xxx on 10.1. Even 2354 is newer if I'm not mistaken. I know that .93 radio works with 2354.

Yes. It seems to me that the battery life is partly dependent on the 10.2 radio file
You will have to extract your own radio file however from the 10.2.0.341 dev OS, because the one darcy posted is for Z10. PM me if you don't know how to do this.

Not sure if it disables the GPS portion
The GPS works on the Q10 devices, so I'm guessing the coding is slightly different between Q10 and Z10 OS files, because the radio files used were specific to each device.
And again, some users have reported GPS working. I personally can't replicate this. I still haven't identified the reason why GPS isn't working though

    Update:
So it seems that GPS just won't lock on. I guess the best 2 OS's right now are
This OS for stability and battery life, but no GPS lock
    OR
10.2.0.93 which has whatsapp missing in hub

If you ask for my suggestion, I would stay on this OS if you are already on it, and switch when a new leak comes out, which has been pretty fast. Unless GPS is essential for you that is
I'm on Z10 STL 100-2 .. Do i need to flash .341 radio files with this hybrid, or is the hybrid as it is going to be enough?

Can I get the apps like twitter, fb, whatsapp etc working (I mean the ones that were working when I was on .2354)?

Can you pls tell me if i'm downloading the autoloader you uploaded and split it with sachup to get the OS file, than download from blackberry OS 10.2.0.341, split it to get the radio file, and than combine the resulting 2 file into one autoloader containing the os 10.1.0.4285 and radio 10.2.0.340 for STL 100-1 will work or should i stop trying? Thanks!

I'm not sure how to do this. But I'm guessing...
    1. Load the OS 228 autoloader
    2. Load this Radio Autoloader
    3. Restore

    Is it correct?

    thanks

    Yes, that'll work.

You could load the radio after you do your restore, too. Generally, you can load radios with the radio-only autoloader at any time. Unlike the OS autoloader, which wipes your old settings, the radio autoloader only affects the radio partition.
So, if you didn't like the .341 radio, for example, you could grab the .228 radio-only autoloader and put it back on there without messing anything else up.

By the way, here's the radio-file autoloader thread - I think only .228 and .341 are working with this OS on the Z:

Happens too on older OS if you're on wifi
I know it happens on 2354. Just turn on wifi, and turn it back on again
If it's happening over LTE, then I'm not sure what the problem is.

    Flash the autoloader as is
Then extract the -1 version of the 341 OS, and install that radio
    Flash that using autoloader
    See if that works.
The problem I can see is that the -1 uses a different chipset that everything else, so it might run into problems.
I'm not sure, but give it a go
