This version locks Rogers APN settings again

I really wish I had a better understanding of how these settings work! I can't believe the one 10.1 leak that actually allows me to edit these settings is the one that failed BB's OS tests (2342)!

That's so weird because 2342 locks my APN and 2354 unlocks APN and screws up MMS as network shows 4GLTE instead of LTE on Rogers. Try to send MMS to see if it's screwed up for you too. I went back to 2342...

For those wanting to use this on their Q. Download and run the autoloader. It'll boot your device saying incompatible radio image file. At this point grab a pre made Q10 radio file loader and flash that. Voil you have the Q10 version

Before you want back you should have done a security wipe and then reloaded the backup
I had the same problems with. 2342 and that's what fixed it, and this time I did a security wipe and have no problems with. 2354

It should work with the Q if you substitute the latest Q's radio ROM you have available for the one that's grabbed in the debrick images.

No promises, but worth a try.
True that. Where can I get this "debrick image"? Possible to provide me a link or something? Thanks!

Boy that is bizarre. Before this leak, I had 2342 with the 1881 radio file. It showed the 4GLTE for Rogers (not the LTE) and the battery was average (12 hours where with the 1881 install I was getting close to 24). With this 2354 I'm getting LTE again instead of 4GLTE... basically the complete opposite of you. The MMS issue didn't bother me because I never use it (I send pics via BBM or WhatsApp). I'm in the middle of restoring a backup right now but as soon as it's completed, I'll try sending an MMS to my wife's Q10 (she's on the official Rogers OS from the the March launch, no leaks installed). BTW, I also did a security wipe after flashing 2354.

I was wondering if the visual voice mail that was included in Z10STL100-3/10.1.0.2342 is included on this build?

So, I've got everything synced up and just performed a reboot. So far everything is very smooth - not perfect, there are occasional small stutters, but for the most part I can't complain. I also went into the Phone app right after rebooting and was happy to find that it wasn't pulling any contacts that I had disabled in the Contacts app, looks like they've finally fixed that!

That is really weird. I did use sachibar to update to 2354 instead of autoloader so maybe that was the problem. I just want to understand the whole 4GLTE problem on Rogers. I hate how we can't figure out what causes this to change from LTE and screw up MMS

You're on STL100-3? And does your phone show 4GLTE or LTE on the top right? Are you able to send MMS ?

Do a security wipe and it should fix the problem, Kris took a guess on what causes it, but really no one knows forsure

Using the Q radio files that you posted a week ago? You posted radio ver .1721 then if i'm not mistaken. Prior to that lbfe posted radio ver .1757. However, OS .2342 comes with radio ver .2343. My question - is it ok to 'downgrade' radio files to upgrade to OS .2354?

Yes it's more than ok. If you want the radio from 2342 than by all means download through sachup and install via sachibar

Just finished updating using the update option on sachup. Device didn't wipe. It was just like an OTA update.

But it took forever to boot. I even did a battery pull, for a moment there, I thought I had a Brick10!
I did the same thing this afternoon. Fortunately I had performed a carrier software update on our HR Director's new Q10 to 10.1.0.273 on Rogers yesterday encountering the same initial long boot time so I wasn't concerned. I would have if I hadn't already experienced it since this is the first time using the Sachup/Sachibar upgrade method.
