The good news: Although 1917 reduced the lag, I was still draining like 1.5 -2W on battery guru doing nothing, so REDID a security wipe and reverted to 1721. Few hours later....BUTTER, smooth and fluent and battery is only using like 0.1 on idle. No comm issues noticed, have made calls, web, text msg etc. Never undid 2354. Stuck with it and am super glad I did.

Before this, though, I tried almost all radios. After 1917, I tried 2355 (because initially I used the 1881 combo autoloader) and after a day, did not have the stutter of 1881, but battery was not quite there.

I then suspected that the reason there is so much variation is that some radios will be better for CDMA (vzw) and others for GSM (att) etc, so I combed the forums obsessively and tried to find folks who mentioned AT&T and had positive radio response and settled on 1721.

Perhaps we should all give more info on our devices when we post so there's a better context for readers
    FTR, I'm on STL003, 2354 OS, 1721 Radio, AT&T with LTE

    Edit1:

Also while the patient was in surgery, I decided to do the Google Chrome extension to download bar files and even though Android apps are not quite smooth in loading, they're fine to run. I was happy to have flipboard and .....NETFLIX worked just fine
I am on the same combo... 2354/1721. I concur this one doesn't have the stutter of 1881 and it's battery life is only a little behind 1881, which becomes the happy medium for me. Will stuck with this combo for a while until something more stable coming from 10.2 branches.

Can you explain to me what this "stutter" is and where you see it. This isn't a challenge, rather, it's a sincere question. I'm using 2354/1881 on AT&T GSM 100-3 and I don't find any lag or stutter. Maybe I'm just not recognizing it. Altogether, this combo is working very well for me.

No worries. I actually haven't tried 2354/1881 combo. The stutter I was referring to was on 10.1.0.1881. When you scroll the screen, say the email list in hub, sometimes the list doesn't scroll as smooth as the 10.1.0.2354, instead it jumps a little bit.

    Whew! :-)

I was afraid I wasn't fully optimized! I didn't understand how the radio file could cause a stutter. Poor battery life, yes.

Now I think it's matter of waiting for 10.2., mainly for the Android upgrade and a couple of new features. But this 2354/1881 combo is pretty impressive, and I much prefer it over the iPhone. Haven't had a reboot or dropped call in two weeks. Used to be daily occurrences for me.

Sounds like battery drain is mostly a radio file thing, and the stutter and rebooting are mostly fixed by OS.

    I'm on Verizon running 2354.

My phone seems to download my visual voicemails but after a little while, they disappear from the hub even though they stay in the VVM list. Also related, I cannot playback voicemails on my phone from the VVM menu. It shows that I have the voicemail but I have to save the voicemail file onto the phone to play it through the file manager.

I've tried deleting all the voicemails on the phone.

    Anyone else have this bug?

Mine don't show up in my hub at all. I get the popup saying I have vvm but when I dismiss the popup, vvm never shows up in my hub. It shows in my phone app.

Hey eyecrispy, no disrespect intended but did you set it to ON in the Hub Management section of settings??

The radio included in the .2354 leak appears to be working properly after 24 hrs of medium duty use. Been on LTE 80% and some wifi 20%. Battery appears to be very decent, given that its only been running for 24 hours. Based on experience with previous leaks, I'm quite optimistic on overall effectiveness of this version.

I used the 2354 build for a couple of weeks with decent success, however I eventually upgraded to OS 2062 with 2026 Radio files on 06/22. The performance improvements have truly been noticeable. Hats off to all advanced contributors/programmers (Kris, lbfe, xsacha, mastercarhead1, DarcyTG, and others...) for contributing their time and efforts at helping make these advancements available for all CB members to benefit.

Where are the 2062 loaders? Is this not a lower version than 2354?

2354 works well. Better than the 10.2.0.93.

Checking the radio side of that one now.... I am not willing to wipe without a good reason however, and since it's a leak and not available from a carrier grab non-destructively loading the OS is probably difficult (maybe not impossible, but hard.)

Radio from that load appears to be good power-consumption wise, and no misbehavior noted thus far.

Take note that the first approved 10.1 Radio file from AT&T is 2026. It was issued in AT&T Software Release 2006. Unfortunately, this OS release was pulled a few hours after its initial OTA rollout.

2026 has an OCCASIONAL instance where it does not fully go to sleep when on a HSPA-based carrier. Downshifting it to 2g mode clears it, but once it happens it comes back if you put it back in 3g/4g mode. A reboot clears it.

I have not been able to isolate the exact cause and the time before it happens is highly variable, but is usually more than 24 hours post-boot.

Ever since my install of this leak my wifi indicator doesn't appear unless I'm on my own wifi. When I'm connected to other hot spots it's missing.

I believe we've had this on OS 10 since day 1.
Unless you're referring to the Joyn, which came packaged with the 2354. I believe that is a carrier-based European-specific IM system. You can just uninstall that.
