Is there anything I need to extract from this download? Mine Z is an ATT STL100 3. Is it possible that this 2354 works for 2, 3 and 4? I just wanted to make sure before doing my second leak/download. Thanks

Nope. Works fine on my stl100-3 for AT&T.

    Hi there,

Successfully flashed 1881 radio file on my STL100-2. I would state that after 4 days use, the best radio /OS combination for EE/UK is 1881/2354.

For me nothing else other than Hybrid 1881/2342 comes close!

I've found .2354 great for everything but the radio (poorer battery life). However, when I tried the .1881 radio file, my device was bricked. As my PW keeper data changes almost daily, I re-installed 2354 and am living with approx. 9 hr battery life until something new comes along.

    Hey people,

I'm fido on. 2453 with 17-cantremember radio. I think. 1880 works marginally better after a few days of settling - as far as battery life goes. Performance has been great in call integrity.

Got a question for the masses. The visual voicemail component shows in the hub and in the Call App (another tab beside missed calls).

Now when I get a voiemail I have go into my call app to check them and my hub isn't working outside thebi,

Damn... sorry. hand bumped the button (on skytrain).

Anyways the hub doesn't update with new voice mails and I can seem to update or delete them either.

    Suggests, commiserations?

    Cheers

Has anyone used the navigation app on 2354? I just used it and can't get audio feedback to work. I had the setting set to voice but all I got were annoying tones throughout the entire route. Anyone else tried the navigation?

It's working for me, though the speaker volume is noticeably reduced. I have to have it at max to hear it.

So I launched it by going to my contacts and tapping the address of where I needed to go. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I loaded the destination from Contacts within My Places in the app itself. I don't see how that should make a difference, though. ???

I assume you've tried resetting the Hub and resetting the device?

I'm not sure what you mean by testing the Hub elessar.cm, but i've reset my phone a million times since i've installed the OS.

And I have, pay for, visual voice mail, from fido, but I never set up anything because fido only supported mms vvm, and not an actual app.

Dun know if this helps anyone any. But that's the status.

I'm sorry I can't help. Mine is still not working. It worked when I was on the stock 10.0 AT&T OS then stopped when I flashed this leak. Haven't tried too hard to figure it out yet.

Just wanted to add a post to help other people who might try this leak and encounter the same SMS / text message problem that I did.

After backing up, I used the debrick sachibar method to install 2354. After, I did NOT do a security wipe nor did I use Link to restore anything.

Upon reboot, my text messaging / SMS was totally fooked: I could not even run the text messaging app. I could not read ANY text messages in the hub (received both before and after loading 2354), could not compose text messages, etc. Nada.

After reading quite a few posts, it appeared that doing a security wipe w/wo restore didn't solve the problem for others. Thanks to posts written by tickerguy and DetlevCM (which were NOT easy to find! lol), it seemed that loading all the upgrade files manually would solve the problem. The key thing is that I did not want to do a data wipe unless absolutely necessary.

So I ran sachup and got the list of files for an upgrade. I've not been able to run sachibar in my virtualbox XP guest, and I was worried that DDPB might not be able to handle so many files properly, so I installed the playbook app manager greasemonkey script in firefox on my arch linux host. I then copied the list of URLs that sachup provided to a text file and used that file as input to wget in order to download all 134 files (pretty fast). I then installed all those downloaded files using the greasemonkey script in firefox. Rebooted. And...voila...Everything seems to be working fine now.

I've attached the file containing the URLs.

What I find interesting is that after using the debrick method that uses just the o/s and radio file, the versions of the applications that were installed did NOT match the versions of the files used in the upgrade method.

Also, I had tried to manually upgrade just a few files that I thought were SMS/text message related (trying to avoid the hassle and time of doing all 134 file), but that didn't work.

    One question I do have...

When I loaded all the upgrade files to the Z10 using playbook app manager, the first two files it tried to send were the o/s and radio files. But it failed. "failure 500 invalid action install", i.e. they weren't loaded. Why couldn't those two files be loaded? Are there checks by the o/s on the versions of files being sent? I would understand if I was trying to downgrade w/ lower versions - but these were the same versions as what was already on the Z10 w/ sachibar debrick method. Why did the installation of those two files fail?

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm using a 100-3 on AT&T, which Radio files did you install and how long have you been running the 2354 build.

Got tired of waiting for AT&T, so did my first leak with the 2354 with 1881 radio. Initially experienced lot of stutter and lag, some went away after a few hours, but noticeably slow, battery was also seeming to drain faster than 10.0.0.116.

So i flashed the 1917 radio and surprisingly, (or maybe coincidentally) the lag seems to have gone away almost completely. Other than that, have not had any issues, tried a skype call, love the larger letters in the suggestions.
