I'm slogging through the setup for 2354 and it's spinning on Regional Update for several minutes. How long does it take to get through that? Or should I just swipe left and bypass that screen?

You can try to swipe. It did that on me and after I swiped left it was fine.

I did that and it worked. Thanks! My phone is now updated via autoloader and I'm preforming the post-autoloader security wipe now. Hopefully, everything will come up running and I will be able to compose SMS. Thanks all! This is a great community.
I could not send SMS - installing the upgrade bars helped.
(reload via Link and installing debrick did not work for me - I think when I had the autoloader build I had sms)

After a little while you get the option to swipe past - when you get that, just go in and it is fine.

I've been on this OS most of the day. The battery was low when I upgraded this morning. It has been hooked up to my computer via usb all day and it's only at 43%. Taking forever to charge. Is that normal? I don't remember it taking that long on the stock AT&T version.

If it is still synching and doing "it's thing" then it would be slow and drawing power. It also charges a lot slower over USB than the supplied charger.

It shouldn't be syncing any longer. It took a bit when I added my work account but that was 4 hours ago. I also setup my 3 personal email accounts in addition to my work account. Since then, it has mostly just been sitting there charging. Battery Guru shows that it's drawing 1.1W just sitting there. That is really high if the phone is charging.

So I originally updated from 2342 to 2354 using the upgrade files from sachup then upgraded with sachibar, no restore just installed everything fresh . Had to perform a security wipe to get my carrier settings but all is good even shows software information in settings.

Here's the thing I just checked for an update (ever the optimist) and was prompted to download a 6mb update(newstand). My question is how can I get a notification that i'm using 10.1.0.2312 when my carrier hasn't released it?

Ok, so I was a bit hesitant to load this one but finally did. I used the Autoloader version and followed the procedure as shown in the "sticky'ed" thread. So far, I'm blown away over the difference in battery life from the current "official" Os version. I really can't get over that single point. That alone has been worth it to me. The keyboard updates are also very nice.

Hmm,try installing an updated browser via Sachibar?

    Posted via CB10
    Just tried that...no luck.

I've found that on wi-fi there is a very slight pause then the site speedily loads. On LTE it takes forever. According to speakeasy.net I'm getting anywhere from 11-23 Mb/s.

Impressive. I should try a 3G-only day to see how my Z10 responds. LTE does seem to be quite the juice sucker. Will try that tomorrow.
So, I was unable to set a 3G only. Had to settle for 4G/3G only. Quite the different rate of discharge than compared to LTE.

Here are Battery Guru shots from yesterday (using LTE all day - top pic) and today (4G/3G mode all day - bottom pic). Today's tail off towards the end of the day was because I was out in the middle of nowhere at my daughter's soccer game. Cell reception is very poor in that location. But the rate up until 6pm is quite different with similar usage up to that point. That LTE radio is a juice sucker.

How were you able to switch it away from LTE, I'm with AT&T and don't see a selectable alternative.

In Network Mode under Mobile Network settings. I simply chose the 4G/3G option turning off any LTE connection.

What has everyone's experience been sideloading apps on this 2354 release? I'm noticing that my loads get stuck at 50% progress and then doesn't get any further. Anyone else seeing that?

I used sachibar to update to the latest version and it was successful. Now the problem is that my device is not being detected by bb link, i can't do a backup or restore as both options are locked.

What do i do? i tried re-installing bb link but to no avail. I think i have to try the last resort by secure wiping my phone and see how it goes.

Apparently a new minor update to BB Link was just released, according to the Crackberry article it's supposed to, among other things, improve compatibility with 10.1 device firmware builds.

So you might want to try installing that update and see if it helps.

No MMS either... a security wipe will fix that.

I got my Z10 two weeks ago. It had the current Telus OS on it. Every night while charging it would reboot a couple of times. I installed the 2354 leak on Monday and haven't had one random reboot since.
