Kris there seem to be a few of us that got the phones bricked by the radio file update.
    Any suggestions for future reference?
Maybe a note to people for a pattern to avoid?

    Thanks
As I stated in the sachup thread this is probably due to the system wanting an actual upgrade not a down grade. I have never once used the sachup method before. I've used it to grab the *.signed files needed to create my autoloader and that's it. Well I should say I did until I booted back up my Linux box to search the servers.

    10.1.0.2354 Autoloader for STL100-2//3/4-img_00000108.png

    OK, I did it--or did I?

With 1880/1881 in place I loaded 2354 OS bar with my Mac using Chrome PlayBook App manager, just as I've sideloaded many bar files before. It took about half an hour and the Chrome program reported a "failure 500" but the Z10 was working. I did not load the 2354 radio file. I then rebooted--that took about a minute. The Z10 is working as before, no text problems or anything else wrong so far as I can tell, so far. I seem to have gained some memory in the process, about 0.1 GB.

The OS screen says 1880, maybe because of the absence of the meta file as discussed before.

So--do I have 2354/1881 or not? How can I tell?

If your about screen says 1880, you have 1880. The Chrome extension can't load system bars.

    Hello everyone!

Since installing .2354 on my Stl-3, my battery life has significantly gotten better compared to the .2342 build.

I'm extremely happy behind this because prior to autoloading .2354, I had to constantly be plugged in charging my Z.
I never really had an issue with the .2342 leak other than excessive battery drain.
The browser was very quick and the overall OS was fluid but the . 2354 seemed to but everything together for me with better battery life.

Thanks Chris and everyone else who contributes in making all of this happen for us!

What's the benefit to upgrade to 2354 if I have 1880? BTW, I don't have reboot issue?

    Thanks!

I've been using 10.1.0.2354 and have been pretty satisfied with it. The contacts are jittery and seem to not populate while trying to locate them using the scroll feature.

I'm located in South Central Florida and on the AT&T network and find the 1881 radio works the best for me!

Any idea when the full OS would be released for the Q10 (10.1.0.2354 with Radio 10.1.0.2355)??

Every new OS iteration contains bug fixes over previous versions. Some are obvious, others not so. We never get to know what they are as BBRY doesn't issue change logs.

    I am using 2354 with Radio 1757 on my Q10 SQN-103.
I have searched but did not found any newer radio, did you?
I do not want to use the 2346 radio because of the MMS bug...

I autoloaded through a link posted by kris, then I security wiped to eliminate potential bugs, then restored from BB link.

Worked like a charm for me.
Let me know if it works out for you as well.

I hear the battery life on .1880 is amazing.
I haven't tried that particular leak yet, but what I can say is .2354 for me is a much better fit seeming it fixed my battery issue.

I've avoided loading Settings from any of my backups, but do you also think the Application Data and Media backed up from 2432 are hosed too?

Seems odd to me that my problems didn't show up directly after restoring App Data and Media, but only after a few reboots after that too.
(Also, I've personally been having problems regardless of whether I restored anything or not.)
All I know is this -- once you get screwed with the SMS problem the only solution is a full reload with wipe. A security wipe will NOT fix it. Even with a bare phone having been security wiped I could not send a new SMS or read a received one that had come in AFTER the wipe.

The only way I found out of the box was to autoload the phone back to something stable, which that bad load was definitely not!

Nope -- it didn't take. The radio and OS versions will update if it does.

I did the following without a problem:

    1. Downgraded to the "no carrier" version of 10.0, then wiped.
    2. Took the carrier update to 10.0.10.85
    3. Sachibar'd to 2354.
    4. MANUALLY reloaded everything (no restore) That took a while and was a pain in the ****, but it was the only way to know that I wouldn't get polluted in some way by the bad load (234x) which was in my previous backup chain.

I found the battery life was trash and Battery Guru said that standby draw was around 0.4 watts. That's horrible. To try to remedy that I flashed JUST THE RADIO back to 1917.

This was successful (no brick) and now my standby draw is typically around 0.05 watts with higher spikes when emails and similar come in.

The only problem I've had with this load is that the VPN is finicky and sometimes will not come up; it returns timeouts although the host side says its running. I'll live with that for now given that I have had no stability problems with this combination and both performance and battery life are excellent.

    I'm on T-Mobile with a -3 device in an HSPA+ area.

I built my own autoloader for .2354 from the .signed files on May 29th and installed on my STL100-3. I haven't been getting "outstanding" battery life, but good enough to get me through the day at least. After 24 hours of light use, it was down to 40%.

No issues with MMS, Text, Contacts.

No security wipes, no Sachup. Just full backup, the autoloader then full restore.

However, It's now Saturday and we haven't heard of a new leak or official OS from a miscellaneous carrier somewhere that is going to really confuse things even more.

Just tried to throw the .1881 radio onto .2354 (via exe available in the radios thread), and it did indeed brick my Rogers STL100-3. My original upgrade method to .2354 was via a sachibar upgrade. Now my device won't turn on and I have the red flashing LED of death. Wondering if their is a way to potentially fix this without doing a restore from link and loosing my data, my last backup is from over 2 weeks ago.....
