    Hi friends,
I'm using my Q10 as a daily driver and lot of works from texting, mailings (4 boxes), calling etc.
The most annoying thing for me is that the scale of the icons (OS in general) were reduced (5 icons in a row instead of 4) making the "hover" zone for touch also reduced. This can be seen when you press the CALL (Phone) icon, it is less responsible than it used to in the 10.2.x.xxxx OSes, meaning you have to press accurately right the CALL (Phone) icon in order to open the Calling screen.

In 10.2.x.xxxx you can press, frankly speaking, anywhere near the icon to open the screen.

Oddly the Camera icon is more responsible lol

Other than that, very nice 10.3.x, the thing I noticed that it makes you to have the trackpad sometimes when choosing the message and the DELETE option appears after that. RIM has designed the 10.3 in that way that users would love to move to CLASSIC or PASSPORT in general

I agree with you on the things seeming smaller....more icons and a smaller area to click

I guess it will not be the case with the official 10.3.1 release for the Q10 in 1 or 2 months.

For me it is annoying that the bottom bar doesn't disappear anymore like it did in previous os versions in most apps. Hopefully this will change again with 10.3.1.

Personally, I like the five icons per row. Much less time flipping thru screens looking for the app I want.

The bottom bar in android apps/ports still disappears for me when I ask it to.

Oh, I mean native apps, not android apps.

yeah the guy meant that the thing, for example, when scrolling in the email list, scrolling down will make the bottom bar to disapear completely.
personally I don't like that "feature" too... it looks like a bug more than a feature.

I think if they increase the touch zone around the CALL/Phone icon, they problem will go away. The touch zone is tooooooooooooo small so you need to press the icon very accurately

in general the 10.3 is a step forward but it for sure is designed more for the new devices, the updates will make you want more and more to switch the hardware

    This.
I dont like the search option in 10.3. It should start everytime without the previous text/search. But now it stays.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of instant actions on 10.3. Hopefully it'll be more polished out once it becomes official. As for the grid layout, I actually like the new look.

I have a Q10 and agree. You can tell it was meant for different devices. Whoever said it makes you want the newer devices may be on to something because after trying it on my Q10. I do want one on the upcoming berries even more. So this could've been a 'controlled leak'. But I do like the direction they are going with the new OS but for my Q10 I'm liking how it runs on 10.2.1 so I'll be rolling back to it tonight.

Both the call and camera shortcuts I have to press like 7 times for them to work. I like the smaller icons though.

from the latest leaked Classic photos, this problem will be automatically fixed... as in the bottom left corner it will be the text messaging icon and in the right side the camera icon, pretty big and spacious ones, btw.
    but's its 10.3.1.xxxx running

Like mentioned in Post #3, 10.3.0 is designed for the Passport only.

10.3.1 will be optimized for the Classic and all other current Devices out there.

10.3.1 is still rumored to be released in November / December. Its also rumoured that it is coming, when the Classic will be officially ready to shop.
