I installed Snap onto my Z10, opened it and then downloaded a Bank of Scotland app.

The blurb in the Google Play Store said the following:

"Issue with ART enabled on devices
Users with ART (Android runtime) enabled on their device may experience issues when updating to the latest version of this app. If you are affected by this, please disable ART in your device settings.

You won?t be able to use this app on a rooted device."

As predicted, the app doesn't work. In fact it won't even open. Does anyone know how to get round this problem or if 10.3.1 will resolve the issue?

If the app can't be made to work, how do I uninstall it?

    Any help would be welcome...

It's hard to say if the ART issue is getting in the way here or not. First thing I'd look at is what the requirements are for the app. If it needs KitKat (and yes, some apps do), then you're out of luck.

There's also the outside chance that the app depends on Google Play services. And, sadly, there's also the outside chance that it's just not compatible.

    Thanks Thunderbuck.

The app obviously isn't going to work!

I wonder if you can tell me
    a) How do I uninstall it?
    b) If it had worked, how would I know if there was an update for it and how would I then update it?

    Thanks for your help.
