maybe the contacts are syncing and disappear...
Save all your contacts with the remember app and then restore them. Make sure the contacts are not synced to any account in the contacts app.

What are you using to sync your contacts? If it's GMail I recommend either adding all contacts to the phone and not syncing to Gmail at all or switching to outlook.com
