    For some time I have been concerned how my available disk space is going down for no apparent reason and after examining the issue in Windows Explorer the issue is clearly with \misc\android\osmdroid\tiles which contains nine folders numbered 10 to 18;
    - Size 15.6 MB (16,407,619 bytes}
    - Size on disk 3.41 GB (3,663,724,544 bytes)
    - Contains 3,494 files, 381 folders.

    Yes, I understand each file takes up 1 MB but even so How do I get back this wasted space?

    My device is a Z10 Software release 10.3.1779 OS Version 10.3.2576

    Usually you need to leave those android folders alone or your apps won't work

    You're trusting Windows Explorer to judge the folder size of a device running a different operating system in a folder area that contains symbolic links to other directories. You don't exactly have wasted space, you have folders that are pointers to other locations as well as real content in the Android folders.

    I'd just delete the files.
