    Guys, I've loved my Z10 and have avoided going to another platform, alas whatsapp has pretty much forced me to get an android phone recently (I still think the BB 10 OS is better).

    Any suggestions of transferring my contacts from BlackBerry to android (Huawei P8 if relevant). I am technically minded, however haven't researched enough on best method.

    Also to mention, I'm avoiding Dropbox etc. as the intermediary for transfer, as I don't know who's seeing the data/contacts. I prefer traditional export (CSV etc.) methods.

    Go to BlackBerry World and download the BlackBerry Content Transfer app.... but you would have to use a Google Account, but if you're going to Android you might as well.

    Or you could use any of a dozen Backup Apps in BBW.... Firechest Ultimate Backup is what I used for just normal backups, but it allowed for Contact Exports.
