Hi! I have a Z10 but my BBM wasn't working so I upgraded to the new Blackberry OS yesterday which is the 10.3.1 and thought that was going to fix it. To my dismay it hasn't. So I did a hard reset by removing the battery. To make it worse, when I put back the battery and turned it on it got stuck on the screen "finalizing device setup" since yesterday to today. I tried to reset it by removing the batt and putting it back. Did even pressed the volumes updown and power button at the same time but the problem hasn't fixed. Hope anyone can help me. Thanks

Stop pulling the battery #1 , press the power button for a min to see if the blue loading circle comes up

Hi thanks for the reply.currently don't have the Z10 with me but will definitely try that. Should that option won't work, What possible steps shoud I do next Pls? Thanks. Not techsavy here

If your phone model is stl100-1 use use the power button, and if any other model hold the volume up and down buttons in together until you see the blue loading circle.

Hello did it already. unfortunately it still hadn't worked.tried the power and volume buttons but still no go. Pls help..thanks

Tried connecting the device to my PC to try reload the OS perhaps using the Blackberry Link as what I've read in other forums however it won't recognize the device.

Guys, was there any resolution to this problem?
My cousin is having the exact same issue with his Z10 after a recent minor update.
He was already on 10.3.1 but a new update came into his phone today (Bell).
Any help would be appreciated other than wiping the phone.
