Z10 stl100-4

Hi, I bought one of these brand new from Hong Kong. The add says '4g' but having Googled that model it is coming up as Verizon / US. My question is will this model work in the UK on GSM or is it CDMA only?
All I want it for is calls, email, calendar and Hub+.

Only if the UK carrier you plan to use supports band 17. That's the only 4G/LTE band the -4 has.

It has a few more HSPA+ bands, so that might help, at least until 3G is sunset in the UK.

Thanks mate, much appreciated. It turns out the UK Gov. just cleared the 700mhz band (band 17) for 5g. What has me confused though is the advert said this:
BlackBerry Z10 STL100-4 (No CDMA, GSM only) Factory Unlocked 4G/LTE Smartphone - White
I'll skip the 4g for the £40 I paid brand new and sealed. However when I Googled the model all I can find reference to is CDMA and UMTS. Being a Brit I don't really know much about CDMA but it can't run on standard GSM 3g surely or what would be the point?

As an afterward the bloke who is selling these phones has sold 5 or 6 to the UK with rave reviews. Hesitating to open it until I know it will do what I want which is mainly the Hub but I will use the contacts and calendar as well.

STL100-4 was meant for CDMA networks.... but also for Roaming, so it has a few GSM Bands as well (850,900,1800, 1900 3G, 900, 1200 HSPA and 700 LTE.)

so in canada basically will work with Rogers and Fido and all of its subs. Nothing else...right?
