I have a Z10 and this problem comes today only. I put my phone on charge and when I remove it was on 84%, I put it in my pocket and just after a minute when I used it; I was surprised to see that the battery is on 0%. Yet the phone didn't switch off and it works as normal for a long time, then I again put it in charge and it starts charging from 0%. Again the same happened. So is it a battery calibration issue or something else??? If battery calibration then how should I calibrate it??

I think it might be your software on your phone. Have you loaded a new OS recently? Which do you have?

This could be one of two things.

1. Are you using a Third party / aftermarket battery? Sometimes they don't register correctly in the phone and so 0% is display. The phone just can't calculate the remaining battery life.

2. Is your battery faulty? Have you tried a new battery or is your current battery quite old now?

I am using the original battery that comes with the phone, I think it's a battery calibration issue but I did not find any proper way to calibrate the battery. So if there is any method, please tell me....

I remember, i encounter this the same issue before in my old BB Curve 9300. Always after it registered 100% and when I pull it out off the charger, it goes to 0% without turning off or turning the radio off. And I also tried using different battery from my Curve 8520, its the same always goes down to 0% immediately.

My Z10's battery drains when I use it while it's on the charger. And it's blazing hot. I'm using the original charger also. Thinking about getting a Passport or Z50 if it ever comes out.

Usual way is to charge to 100%, drain the battery until the phone shuts down, then fully charge again.

You could always try buying a new Z10 battery to see if that resolves your issue? They're dirt cheap on Amazon usually (just got one for �7 for my mother's Z10)

I do have also prob with my z10 bat.it never full charge (100%) only 93%.i've been observibg it for 1 week.coz I read one of a forum in this site re drain the bat.then charge it.then aftet a week it reach the 100%.
