[CrackBerry Question]

So I used to be able to lock the screen with YouTube in the browser still playing music. This way there's no chance of messing up the song while the phone is in my pocket. But randomly (and more recently all the time) the YouTube will pause unless I keep the browser up on the screen, which ofc means I can't just listen to music from YT with the phone in the pocket anymore.

If I change tabs, minimise the browser, or lock the screen YT pauses the song/video. This is annoying.

Why does it happen, is there an option somewhere to change this?

YouTube finally caught up it seems, they stopped it on Android as well

Lots of threads on this already, you can review the options in those but the definitive answer is, there is no rhyme or reason as to why it's working for some and not others. Some days it'll work, other it won't. Some blame YouTube, others blame BB10. It could stop and never come back at any point, it is what it is.
