Xfinity TV go app - fails to download movies

I recently downloaded the Xfinity TV go app via Snap onto my Z30 with high hopes of downloading movies while online to watch offline on an airplane. I have tried several times and the app crashes each time. Download times are ridiculously slow - many hours for about one gig - and then the app freezes up when about 90% complete. My device has plenty of space for the content. Has anybody been able to download movies successfully via the TV go app?

I am going to reply to my own thread and share with you that I finally succeeded in downloading the 892mb movie. It literally took over 48 hours, if not closer to 72.
