I recently bought a Blackberry Q10 and am very happy with it however on the physical keyboard it also has in orange arabic symbols as well as the typical english symbols. Would this annoy people if that was what was on their phone as well?

Some models are made specially for that purpose, to easily facilitate different languages.

Did it not annoy you when you first saw it?

Of course it would, to have characters that you don't understand right on something you use on a daily basis, in front of your face.

Settings>language and input> input languages. Disable the languages you don't want.

Also clear your learned words. Settings >language and input> prediction and correction.

I had the same issue, at first it was annoying but it becomes second nature, you get used to it and it disappears in a sense after a while. So for the first few days its slightly annoying but i got used to it and i think its pretty cool now
