If you can get by with fewer apps as time goes along then the Passport can still be a daily driver for alot of people. For example banking apps are starting to require Android 4.4 for tap-to-pay functionality so a whole class of apps are becoming unusable on Passport.

Only you can determine what apps are crucial to your smartphone experience.

I could use the the proper web site for Facebook I guess .
there is a Santander mobile site available but hard to find.
as for other banking apps is it possible to transfer monies over them?
I really miss the speaker phone for handsfree to be honest.
apple isn't as good this way but great in other ways.
android is just a pain in the *** after a week or two it starts to play up like my Sony and Samsung and keyone.

My Passport just quit months after finding the bottom of the lake. I only have a backup file. Just got the Keyone, and it appears that file won't help me. Lost my contacts I guess. Anyhow, android is a mess compared to BB10

I do agree. I find android is just immature. I try it over and over again and can't seem to like it. I probably try it again if Nokia flagship comes out.
But I'm personally looking for best phone experience. I'm thinking ho elite x3 or going back in time to passport

Save your money and buy IOS or Android. Chasing dying OS platforms is good for hobby but you still need a device to handle everyday tasks efficiently and be more productive.

Don't misunderstand, WP, BBOS and BB10 have all been productive in their day, but we have to learn new ecosystems as humans or even we get left behind.
