Given how some rumours about the Oslo claim it will essentially be the "Passport 2" upgrade, rather than the original assumption that it was a lower-spec version of the Passport for emerging markets; if I buy a Passport now am I likely to find a couple of months down the line that I could've gotten the Oslo - or perhaps that teased dual-curve/slider handset - for the same money (or possibly gotten the Passport for a reduced price once the new phone(s) were out)?

I'd get the passport unless you really want the slider. The rumour oso is just for emerging markets it supposedly won't have LTE it's more like a passport light than a passport 2

Oslo has had no mention whatsoever in any developed country... I'd be surprised if we see it here.
